# Sauder Wardrobe Cabinet *Published: 2026-02-19 | Updated: 2026-02-19 | Source: https://shopsavvy.com/products/sauder-wardrobe-cabinet* --- **Brand:** Sauder **Price Range:** $244.99 - $589 across 14 retailers ## Price History - We recorded no new price at major retailers (Amazon, Walmart, Best Buy, Target, The Home Depot and Lowes) in the last 90 days. - Range over the last 12 months: $260.10 (retailers/amazon, Nov 20, 2025) to $330.00 (retailers/amazon, Dec 11, 2025). - Based on 12 recorded prices since Oct 27, 2025 for offers sold by these retailers themselves (not marketplace sellers). Summary as of Oct 13, 2026. ## Pros - Provides a practical and roomy solution for organizing clothes and other items, keeping them off the floor and freeing up closet space. - Sturdy and solid once mounted to the wall, especially if secured properly with screws directly into wall studs. - Made from manufactured materials like MDF that offer better durability compared to cheaper, flimsier options. - Assembly is generally straightforward if you pay attention to alignment and use the correct holes for drawer rails. - Customizable interior shelving; some users opted not to use the hanger rail to better suit their storage needs. - Adding battery-powered, motion-sensor stick-on lights can significantly improve the cabinet’s usability in dim closets or pantries. ## Cons - The cabinet’s finish and build quality feel below expectations: thin doors and panels make it feel flimsy and fragile. - Handles are low quality, tricky to install, and prone to hardware issues like screws shearing inside the handle fittings. - Uneven floors cause the cabinet to lean and doors to misalign; shims and careful leveling are necessary before mounting. - Some structural wood components are prone to stripping if over-tightened, making adjustments difficult. - The top surface is unfinished, which may look noticeable or detract from the overall aesthetic depending on placement. - The design requires removing or trimming shelves to fit taller items like brooms or vacuums. - Drawer performance can be a headache: drawers may stick, need constant adjusting, and the top drawer may rub against the door. - Some users report the product feels fragile and may not withstand heavy or long-term use, regretting the purchase after a few months. - Assembly demands care and patience; poor construction quality means even careful assembly doesn’t fully overcome build issues. - Overall quality does not justify the full price; this cabinet is best considered when deeply discounted. ## Specifications | Attribute | Value | |-----------|-------| | productName | Sauder Miscellaneous Wardrobe/Storage Pantry Cabinet | | dimensionsUnit | inches | | color | Soft White | ## Last Seen Prices | Retailer | Price | Availability | Last seen | Store's standard terms | |----------|-------|-------------|-----------|------------------------| | [Nebraska Furniture Mart](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/jIlfDiec0sU09JWG7yMT/offers/qy1WPhLBbc6o3wQVX8FL?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $244.99 | In Stock | 2022-08-03 (may have changed) | 30-day returns (in store too) | | [Office Depot](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/jIlfDiec0sU09JWG7yMT/offers/x69bWhUqF2q8BrtjD9KH?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $319.99 | In Stock | 2023-02-12 (may have changed) | 90-day returns (in store too) · free shipping on $35+ | | [Sears](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/jIlfDiec0sU09JWG7yMT/offers/EO6MDVkpF3k8DVnGRVzW?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $325.99 | In Stock | 2023-02-12 (may have changed) | | | [retailers/amazon](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/jIlfDiec0sU09JWG7yMT/offers/GJbwZrTY0JzNIGaiCjxW?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $327.00 | In Stock | 2026-02-19 (may have changed) | 30-day returns (in store too) | | [Sauder Furniture](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/jIlfDiec0sU09JWG7yMT/offers/Oy7GFge7WXWY5Yz3YOeD?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $369.99 | In Stock | 2023-02-12 (may have changed) | | | [Boscov's](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/jIlfDiec0sU09JWG7yMT/offers/t8T7BM9oqlPMZYM9FihN?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $383.99 | In Stock | 2023-02-12 (may have changed) | | | [Boscov's](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/jIlfDiec0sU09JWG7yMT/offers/6RitDoCdTXNPHpGbjS3E?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $383.99 | In Stock | 2023-02-12 (may have changed) | | | [HomeShoppingMalls.com](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/jIlfDiec0sU09JWG7yMT/offers/mxpkO89kS8WDVqOMEcC2?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $421.99 | In Stock | 2022-08-03 (may have changed) | | | [totallyfurniture.com](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/jIlfDiec0sU09JWG7yMT/offers/LqlVIN3qz8BLb0ua4lB7?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $421.99 | In Stock | 2023-02-12 (may have changed) | | | [Discount Bandit](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/jIlfDiec0sU09JWG7yMT/offers/x8dN4m6PvRArZA6H5JnD?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $480.90 | In Stock | 2023-02-12 (may have changed) | | | [Cymax (BCM second)](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/jIlfDiec0sU09JWG7yMT/offers/tDcuhs7TQZWy8zbbohDx?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $560.00 | In Stock | 2023-02-12 (may have changed) | | | [GoVets.com](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/jIlfDiec0sU09JWG7yMT/offers/cnCOP9wvwF91ndMrPVeF?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $567.27 | In Stock | 2022-08-03 (may have changed) | | | [Houzz](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/jIlfDiec0sU09JWG7yMT/offers/RYDi5Wb50ybY2cmXw0AJ?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $589.00 | In Stock | 2023-02-12 (may have changed) | | *Store terms are each retailer's standard return and shipping policy from ShopSavvy's retailer research;
