# Samsung CJ791 Monitor *Published: 2025-04-07 | Updated: 2025-04-07 | Source: https://shopsavvy.com/products/samsung-cj791-monitor* --- **Brand:** Samsung **Price Range:** $359.99 - $2802.37 across 106 retailers ## Pros - The Picture by Picture (PBP) feature is a standout, allowing use of two computers simultaneously. - Excellent display quality with sharp text, true colors, and rich, deep hues. - The curved widescreen enhances gaming experiences, suitable for AAA video games with FreeSync and G-SYNC compatibility. - Built-in speakers offer decent sound quality for voice calls. - Aesthetically pleasing design, with a sleek look and matte finish reducing reflections. - High refresh rate of 100Hz and excellent motion clarity for smooth gaming and multitasking. - Suitable for gaming, general office use, web browsing, and casual photo/video editing. - The monitor powers the MacBook Pro through Thunderbolt 3, eliminating the need for an extra power source. ## Cons - Connectivity options are limited, with only one DisplayPort, one HDMI port, and two non-switchable Thunderbolt 3 ports. - Brightness can be excessive in dark environments, especially on white backgrounds. - Customer service experiences with Samsung were noted as frustrating and unsatisfactory. - Occasional issues with cracked bezels, suggesting possible durability concerns. - The stand takes up significant desk space, a slim wall mount might be necessary. - Built-in speakers lack adequate volume control, inconveniently located multi-dial at the back. - Joystick interface for menu navigation can be less intuitive than traditional buttons. - Syncing glitches observed with MacOS audio outputs. ## Specifications | Attribute | Value | |-----------|-------| | model | LC34J791WTNXZA
