## Pros
- The Samsonite Checked-Large in purple has a striking liquid metal-like finish that catches the eye and stands out on luggage carousels.
- It features a spacious interior that comfortably holds enough for a three-week international trip without exceeding typical airline weight limits.
- Smooth-rolling wheels and sturdy handles make it easy to maneuver through airports, trains, and cars, ideal for frequent travelers.
- Durable, well-built construction with strong zippers and water-resistant seams provides excellent protection and longevity.
- Comes with a 10-year warranty, adding confidence for long-term use.
- The interior includes handy features like adjustable straps and a separator flap with zipped pockets to keep belongings secure and organized.
- Lightweight yet sturdy, balancing easy mobility with toughness.
- Expansion zippers offer additional packing space when needed.
- Proven resilience after heavy use and multiple international flights, maintaining functional locks, wheels, and telescoping handles.

## Cons
- The dark, shiny purple finish is prone to showing scratches and scuffs easily, so purchasing a protective cover is recommended for those concerned about aesthetics.
- The largest checked bag would benefit from an additional grip on the bottom to facilitate lifting when fully loaded.
- The inside liner seam may rip under uneven packing pressure, although this appears to be an isolated incident.
- Heavier loads above around 50 lbs (23 kg) can be harder to manage due to maneuverability challenges.
- Not suitable as a carry-on due to its size.
- Some users note that scuffs and scratches are quite visible, which might be a dealbreaker if keeping the luggage pristine is important.
