---
**Brand:** Generic
**Price Range:** $79.99 - $148.07 across 3 retailers

## Pros
- Exceeds expectations in power by cutting quickly and efficiently through branches up to 1-2 inches thick.
- Lightweight and highly portable, easy to carry for yard tasks or even outdoor activities like kayaking.
- Reliable and safe to use when handled properly, making it a solid choice for pruning and trimming.
- Requires only basic maintenance; regular chain lubrication with quality oils like 3-in-1 or lightweight chain oil significantly improves performance and durability.
- Works well as a trimmer and offers great value for its price point.
- Surprisingly innovative and ahead of its time compared to similar mini chainsaws at major retailers.
- Optimized for right-handed users, which will suit most buyers comfortably.

## Cons
- Battery and charger are not included, so you’ll need to buy those separately unless you already own compatible Ryobi ONE+ batteries.
- The chain requires frequent lubrication, but this crucial maintenance step isn’t emphasized enough in the instructions.
- Battery runtime is limited — it sometimes only lasts about 5 minutes when cutting multiple small branches before needing a recharge.
- Lacks an upper handguard, which can affect safety or comfort for users who prefer two-handed operation.
- Lower handguard design makes it awkward to store on racks or holders.
- Not optimized for left-handed users, which could be uncomfortable or impractical for that group.
