However, its 7.1 surround sound may not be very effective outside of precise gaming scenarios, and the headset can become hot and uncomfortable during use. If the sound quality and comfort aren't up to your standards, you might want to consider the regular Razer BlackShark V2, which includes a detachable mic and a USB DAC for potentially better audio quality. ## Pros - Durable and well-built with a user-friendly interface. - Significant improvement over Kraken X in terms of audio quality and comfort. - Includes a splitter cable for compatibility with older PCs. - Comfortable and aesthetically pleasing design. - Lightweight and feels well-made, enhancing comfort for extended wear. - Sound quality is decent for its price, suitable for gaming and casual music. ## Cons - 7.1 surround system is often considered a gimmick, especially outside of precise gaming scenarios. - Microphone audio can sound tinny, struggling to capture lower tones. - Ear cushions may not be comfortable and can require replacement due to seams. - Must remove ear cushions to access the serial code for surround system activation, which is cumbersome. - Headset can become hot during use. ## Specifications | Attribute | Value | |-----------|-------| | Length | 10.59 in | | Height | 4.53 in | | Width | 7.7 in | | title | Razer Blackshark V2 x - Wired Gaming Headset | ## About This Product Embrace the sound of esports with the Razer BlackShark V2 X-a triple threat of amazing audio, superior mic clarity and supreme sound isolation.
