**Brand:** Optimum Nutrition
**Price Range:** $47.95 - $89.9 across 3 retailers

## Pros
- Mixes very well with both milk and water, leaving no clumps or chalky residue.
- Provides a solid 24 grams of protein per serving with low carbs (3g), low fat (1.5g), and only 120 calories, making it a clean option for daily training.
- Gentle on digestion with no reported bloating or nausea, even when doubling the scoop size.
- White Chocolate flavor has a pleasant, mild taste that isn't overly sweet, appealing to those sensitive to artificial sweeteners.
- Versatile for mixing with fresh ingredients like bananas, peanut butter, and cocoa powder to create tasty smoothies.
- Produced in the USA with strict quality standards, including extremely low levels of contaminants like lead.
- Consistent nutritional quality across all flavors in the Optimum Nutrition Gold Standard line.
- Recommended for newcomers to protein supplements due to its smooth taste and easy digestibility.

## Cons
- The White Chocolate flavor is milder and may be too subtle or not sweet enough for those who prefer stronger, sweeter tastes.
- Some other flavors in the same product line (notably Cookies and Cream, Double Rich Chocolate, and Tropical Punch) have been criticized for artificial aftertastes or overly sweet profiles, which might affect brand perception for sensitive buyers.
- While mixing is easy, taste preferences vary widely; people looking for a bold or distinctive flavor might be underwhelmed.
- Not the best option if you're after a protein powder with bold chocolate or candy-like flavor profiles, as this White Chocolate flavor is more understated.
