# New Chapter Elderberry Syrup *Published: 2026-03-26 | Updated: 2026-03-26 | Source: https://shopsavvy.com/products/new-chapter-elderberry-syrup* --- **Brand:** New Chapter **Price Range:** $19.8 - $44.52 across 24 retailers ## Pros - Contains real, Grade A honey, which provides a pleasant, natural sweetness without the typical overpowering sugar flavor found in many elderberry syrups. - Highly concentrated 64x black elderberry formula, praised for immune defense effectiveness in both kids (4+) and adults. - Many users report fast relief from cold symptoms, sometimes within 24 hours of use. - Made from organic, non-GMO, gluten-free ingredients, appealing to those seeking natural wellness options. - Versatile enough to be added to beverages and smoothies without compromising flavor. - Trusted for supporting recovery from various illnesses, including some mentions of relief from COVID-19 symptoms like cough and loss of taste/smell. - Generally enjoyable taste and easy to swallow, encouraging consistent daily use. - Considered good value for the quality provided, with many customers reordering or gifting it to family members. ## Cons - Contains real honey, so it tends to crystallize or thicken, especially after refrigeration, making it difficult to pour without warming or waiting at room temperature. - The syrup thickens significantly once refrigerated, sometimes needing a straw or scooping method for extraction, which can be inconvenient. - Side effects reported by a few users include dizziness, severe headaches, and mild diarrhea after several days—reducing the dose or stopping may be necessary if these occur. - Requires refrigeration to maintain product quality, which contributes to its thickened consistency and less-than-ideal pourability. ## Specifications | Attribute | Value | |-----------|-------| | productName | New Chapter Elderberry Syrup | | servings | 24 | | description | Immune Defense for Kids (4+) & Adults | | concentration | 64x Concentrated | | mainIngredient | Black Elderberry | | sweetener | Grade A Honey | | brand | New Chapter | ## Last Seen Prices | Retailer | Price | Availability | Last seen | |----------|-------|-------------|-----------| | [Amazon](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/iOHZRxVnmQ6AgyjT9Cjm/offers/qowmggovXhV2l6wXwAPo?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $19.80 | In Stock | 2023-07-12 (may have changed) | | [Walmart](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/iOHZRxVnmQ6AgyjT9Cjm/offers/MmoiU7NlpCjdvGZLQxZn?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $20.60 | In Stock | 2023-07-15 (may have changed) | | [Vitacost.com](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/iOHZRxVnmQ6AgyjT9Cjm/offers/sJwsWlxL9WLr4HB7Cy88?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $20.99 | In Stock | 2023-07-15 (may have changed) | | [iHerb](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/iOHZRxVnmQ6AgyjT9Cjm/offers/ahEZaHY4GR2yx9uUf2ln?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $23.48 | In Stock | 2023-07-15 (may have changed) | | [Natural Healthy Concepts](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/iOHZRxVnmQ6AgyjT9Cjm/offers/qZ5EzyKHiDSsZjvPOqY6?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $23.48 | In Stock | 2023-07-15 (may have changed) | | [natural healthy concepts](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/iOHZRxVnmQ6AgyjT9Cjm/offers/MOlWjKeilT7e9TxRdNHL?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $23.48 | In Stock | 2022-07-22 (may have changed) | | [professional supplement center](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/iOHZRxVnmQ6AgyjT9Cjm/offers/OAS390gA0gqFXNBnDwIR?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $23.48 | In Stock | 2023-07-15 (may have changed) | | [PureFormulas.com](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/iOHZRxVnmQ6AgyjT9Cjm/offers/eKy3zOGVx7UyPFaJGq0e?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $23.48 | In Stock | 2023-07-15 (may have changed) | | [thrive market](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/iOHZRxVnmQ6AgyjT9Cjm/offers/po4oZ6tsOv8VGoA3vl69?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $23.48 | In Stock | 2023-07-15 (may have changed) | | [VitaminDiscountCenter](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/iOHZRxVnmQ6AgyjT9Cjm/offers/TFYx6jlZ8avmw86cBLkj?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $23.48 | In Stock | 2022-07-22 (may have changed) | | [Healthy Planet Shopping](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/iOHZRxVnmQ6AgyjT9Cjm/offers/WQ5rnrLvdFujDrS6Dxos?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $23.49 | In Stock | 2022-07-22 (may have changed) | | [Pharmaca](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/iOHZRxVnmQ6AgyjT9Cjm/offers/g1jKz0BmsUbPyU7t4pdK?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $23.49 | In Stock | 2022-07-22 (may have changed) | | [Swanson Health Products](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/iOHZRxVnmQ6AgyjT9Cjm/offers/jhAyg6Z6Dc4QK3Ro40mu?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $23.49 | In Stock | 2022-07-22 (may have changed) | | [Swanson Health Products (BCM second)](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/iOHZRxVnmQ6AgyjT9Cjm/offers/IE53qzmrg1ou264Q0fUS?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $23.49 | In Stock | 2023-07-15 (may have changed) | | [VitaminLife](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/iOHZRxVnmQ6AgyjT9Cjm/offers/WC5QtCetFhae4vCvR26V?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $23.49 | In Stock | 2023-07-15 (may have changed) | | [eVitamins](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/iOHZRxVnmQ6AgyjT9Cjm/offers/gIymKBDsRUJyX0FD0AJm?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $24.77 | In Stock | 2023-07-12 (may have changed) | | [VitaCart.com](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/iOHZRxVnmQ6AgyjT9Cjm/offers/wGEyIL0xtuadK1b4ROoI?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $24.97 | In Stock | 2023-07-15 (may have changed) | | [Hive Brands](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/iOHZRxVnmQ6AgyjT9Cjm/offers/NZRZyDxXLQc0XoSOmkeC?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $25.99 | In Stock | 2023-07-15 (may have changed) | | [new chapter](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/iOHZRxVnmQ6AgyjT9Cjm/offers/VfmmPCCnBymXWLWti7Zm?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $28.00 | In Stock | 2023-07-15 (may have changed) | | [DrAlexRinehart.com](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/iOHZRxVnmQ6AgyjT9Cjm/offers/YgViX6kNOVuwsBXbHmcT?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $31.95 | In Stock | 2022-07-22 (may have changed) | [See every retailer and the full price history on ShopSavvy](https://shopsavvy.com/products/new-chapter-elderberry-syrup) --- *About this page: ShopSavvy compares prices across thousands of retailers, aggregates expert and user reviews, and tracks price history to help you make informed buying decisions.
