# Nerf Gelfire Mythic Blaster *Published: 2025-06-05 | Updated: 2025-07-18 | Source: https://shopsavvy.com/products/nerf-gelfire-mythic-blaster* --- **Brand:** NERF **Price Range:** $17.99 - $130.17 across 28 retailers ## Pros - Offers an exhilarating experience with both semi-automatic and full-automatic firing modes, with preference for full auto for faster shooting. - Comes with a generous supply of 10,000 Gelfire rounds and a convenient 800 round hopper. - Easy to handle and suitable for ages 14 and up after some practice. - Well-constructed with an extendable stock and intuitive aiming for reliable accuracy. - Features a durable, fast-charging, and long-lasting rechargeable battery. - Gelfire rounds burst on impact and leave no mess, with easy cleanup as they are biodegradable. - Excellent for backyard battles, family fun, and competitive outdoor activities. - Highly accurate with a pro-level firing range of up to 100 feet when the shots are arched. - Safety goggles included to protect eyes during use, recommended due to the power of the shots. - Unique design distinguishes it from real weapons and provides a great value for the quality offered. ## Cons - Beads can sting upon impact, recommending protective gear for safety. - Color scheme may not be appealing to everyone and ammo container could obstruct aiming. - Not suitable for children below the recommended age due to the stinging sensation and power of shots. - Setup can be time-consuming as the beads require soaking in water for about 3 hours. - Lacks on-brand accessories for gel storage and usage. - Slower projectile speed compared to other blasters can impact competitive play. - Limited to single fire mode, which might be less exciting for some users. - No warranty provided, which raises concerns about long-term durability. ##
