# Nail Tek Intensive Therapy 2 *Published: 2025-01-01 | Updated: 2025-02-14 | Source: https://shopsavvy.com/products/nail-tek-intensive-therapy-2* --- **Brand:** Nail Tek **Price Range:** $4.45 - $26.4 across 21 retailers ## Pros - Effectively reinforces weak, soft nails and prevents peeling. - Trusted basecoat used for nearly a decade, indicating reliability. - Protects nails from staining by highly pigmented polishes. - Promotes nail growth and allows for longer nails without chips or breaks. - Provides a smooth appearance and a shiny glaze on the nails. - Recommended to apply 2 coats for best results. - Leaves nails with a healthy appearance. - Improvement noticed in nail hardness and less splitting. - Manicure lasts up to 5 days, perfect for frequent color changes. ## Cons - Negative experience when a product’s formula was altered, causing weaker nails. - Another brand required daily application, which was inconvenient. - Suggests switching to a different brand semi-annually to let nails 'breathe.' - Recommends starting with a different formula (#4) for severely peeling nails. - Emphasizes the necessity of keeping nails hydrated and filing snags immediately. ## Last Seen
