# Milwaukee 2825-20ST Trimmer *Published: 2026-01-29 | Updated: 2026-01-29 | Source: https://shopsavvy.com/products/milwaukee-2825-20st-trimmer* --- **Brand:** Milwaukee **Price Range:** $76 - $795.84 across 131 retailers ## Pros - Delivers impressive power comparable to gas-powered models, handling tough and thick grass and weeds with ease. - Comfortable weight and excellent balance make it easy to use for extended periods without fatigue. - Long battery life, with the 5.0 Ah battery covering about half an acre and the 12 Ah battery running 40 to 45 minutes on a single charge. - Compatible with Milwaukee M18 batteries and other attachments like a pole saw, adding versatility and convenience if you already own Milwaukee tools. - Durable build quality and reliable performance even in challenging conditions like gravel and rocks. - Easy to assemble with minimal setup and comes with a .95 line that reloads easily and performs well. - Lightweight design enhances usability without sacrificing power or control. - Shoulder strap is optional, but the trimmer is still comfortable to use without it. - Strong recommendation for both beginners and experienced users looking for a dependable battery-powered trimmer. - Runs well under heavy use for about 20 to 30 minutes without slowing down significantly. ## Cons - The included trimmer line quality is poor, requiring users to replace it sooner than expected. - The trimmer can occasionally shut off on its own, indicating some reliability concerns reported by a portion of users. - While strong, it is not as powerful as gas-powered models, making it less suitable for prolonged, heavy-duty commercial use. - Performance may be inconsistent within a short time period for some users, especially during continuous heavy trimming. - Not recommended for extended heavy-duty use due to potential overheating. - Comes with only a short spool of line, necessitating quick refills during use. - Some users note performance improvements when removing the line cover shield, suggesting minor design quirks. ##
