## Expert Summary

If you're after a nostalgia trip and some family fun, Mario Party Superstars delivers in spades. But beware, the limited maps and lack of depth might leave seasoned players wanting. For a more challenging alternative, consider checking out WarioWare: Get It Together! to keep your game nights lively.

## Pros
- Highly enjoyable for family game nights
- One of the top favorite Nintendo Switch games
- Remixed greatest hits with boards from the first three games and 100 mini-games from all games
- Full online multiplayer, allowing you to play with friends
- Quality-of-life improvements: updated Bowser seed placement, fast-forward through cutscenes, tailored shop items to boards, revamped mini-games for accessibility
- Helpful in-game guidance like showing spaces to the star and marking landing spots at junctions
- Extremely fun for family gatherings or online play
- High replay value; difficult to stop playing once started
- Fun and nostalgic experience
- Menus and games in this version move faster

## Cons
- Some mini-games are redundant and might slow the gameplay down
- AI can be very unintuitive, even at higher difficulty levels
- Short replay value due to limited maps
- Feels like an overpriced expansion pack with limited content
- Mini-games become boring quickly, especially for long-time fans
- Only five maps available and limited unlockable content
- Can be completed in a single day, indicating a lack of depth
- Online play suffers from significant lag, making it unplayable even with high-speed internet
- Lacks unique character dice and friends earnable on the gameboard
- Emphasizes nostalgia and customizable rulesets but lacks the strategic gameplay seen in the previous version
