# Makita XWT08Z Impact Wrench *Published: 2026-03-04 | Updated: 2026-03-04 | Source: https://shopsavvy.com/products/makita-xwt08z-impact-wrench* --- **Brand:** Makita **Price Range:** $49.99 - $659.52 across 104 retailers ## Pros - Delivers impressive, high torque capable of removing stubborn lug nuts on heavy-duty trucks like the Ford F-350 and loosening bolts tightened over 180 ft-lbs. - Significantly speeds up tire changes and other automotive tasks, making it a true time-saver compared to manual or lower-power tools. - Features three RPM/torque settings for versatile control across different jobs. - Solid and secure grip with strategically placed rubber, providing confident handling despite the tool’s weight. - Reliable, durable, and built to withstand heavy-duty use, consistent with Makita’s reputation for quality. - Brake function immediately stops rotation when the trigger is released, enhancing control and safety. - Cordless convenience frees users from air compressors while delivering power comparable or superior to some 3/4” air impact wrenches. - Performs well with a recommended 5.0 or 6.0 Ah battery to maximize runtime and torque. - Highly portable and compact for a tool of its power level, making it ideal for DIY automotive work on the go. - Saves significant effort over manual processes, such as brake bleeding or loosening tight bolts. ## Cons - The tool feels heavier than expected, which might cause fatigue during extended use, though grip comfort compensates somewhat. - Older 3.0 Ah 18V batteries limit the tool to its lowest power setting, necessitating newer high-capacity batteries for full performance. - Caution is needed to avoid over-tightening lug nuts at the highest torque setting. - No mention of included batteries or charger since it is sold as a tool-only kit, requiring additional purchases. - Bulkier than smaller cordless tools, so not the lightest option for users prioritizing minimal weight. ## Specifications | Attribute | Value | |-----------|-------| | model | XWT08Z | | mpn | XWT08Z | | brand | Makita | | manufacturer | Makita | | weight | not specified | | dimensionsUnit | not specified | | color | not specified | | barcode | not specified | | sku | not specified | ## Last Seen Prices | Retailer | Price | Availability | Last seen | |----------|-------|-------------|-----------| | [Byonhome](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/GtozhivFkt4LKbo8qBZN/offers/rmVLGXrw1NCY7uLvxDAn?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $49.99 | In Stock | 2023-03-25 (may have changed) | | [Bunnyrey](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/GtozhivFkt4LKbo8qBZN/offers/f34puvxN81cuC21YYgfc?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $50.00 | In Stock | 2022-12-21 (may have changed) | | [Actools](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/GtozhivFkt4LKbo8qBZN/offers/ND6whMDIgl6Fuv1zob1S?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $80.70 | In Stock | 2023-04-07 (may have changed) | | [My Store](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/GtozhivFkt4LKbo8qBZN/offers/AN2x0fZ2tD8Y3mnnCpnV?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $80.70 | In Stock | 2023-04-30 (may have changed) | | [linmadeb](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/GtozhivFkt4LKbo8qBZN/offers/uMrQPAAGa36TIbHaq9zO?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $99.53 | In Stock | 2023-01-18 (may have changed) | | [My Store](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/GtozhivFkt4LKbo8qBZN/offers/82gIiOzXnHZhVZylyMVZ?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $110.25 | In Stock | 2023-04-12 (may have changed) | | [My Store](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/GtozhivFkt4LKbo8qBZN/offers/PawPZIJ34hLDKGoB1q3m?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $110.25 | In Stock | 2023-03-27 (may have changed) | | [My Store](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/GtozhivFkt4LKbo8qBZN/offers/8jECwsqfy5pZYluOge7b?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $157.50 | In Stock | 2023-04-30 (may have changed) | | [Amazon](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/GtozhivFkt4LKbo8qBZN/offers/UL1EFS27Ig3xik2f1gAe?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $204.00 | In Stock | 2022-08-10 (may have changed) | | [BUYA.COM](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/GtozhivFkt4LKbo8qBZN/offers/sEYEoWazalm7UWad0Xk4?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $214.99 | In Stock | 2023-04-30 (may have changed) | | [WAM Kitchen](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/GtozhivFkt4LKbo8qBZN/offers/xi8zuOgcIpGwIUNG08MV?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $231.20 | In Stock | 2023-03-27 (may have changed) | | [Melitawillstore](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/GtozhivFkt4LKbo8qBZN/offers/qMqYkMwndug8DBOFDLj0?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $236.98 | In Stock | 2022-07-21 (may have changed) | | [Walmart](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/GtozhivFkt4LKbo8qBZN/offers/fFKDNbxl5rG3WtmPKcoq?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $242.00 | In Stock | 2022-07-02 (may have changed) | | [joojet](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/GtozhivFkt4LKbo8qBZN/offers/b7PHDxOcFTi9NFIq6VxK?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $259.00 | In Stock | 2022-08-02 (may have changed) | | [Carkart.com](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/GtozhivFkt4LKbo8qBZN/offers/SYi2EPQqgtPrkHqmxRZf?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $262.37 | In Stock | 2022-10-11 (may have changed) | | [BrookPad](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/GtozhivFkt4LKbo8qBZN/offers/FbvLHpIpKAV0YwPhyxTR?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $264.00 | In Stock | 2022-11-21 (may have changed) | | [Global Industrial (BCM second)](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/GtozhivFkt4LKbo8qBZN/offers/ibzgBYt5yBfhzVWfzdpp?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $264.95 | In Stock | 2023-04-28 (may have changed) | | [AceTool.com](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/GtozhivFkt4LKbo8qBZN/offers/DksTMK4asxXOHKGveeVm?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $269.00 | In Stock | 2022-09-29 (may have changed) | | [Burns Power Tools](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/GtozhivFkt4LKbo8qBZN/offers/7i0Wr6gqcfRugbhPSkP5?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $269.00 | In Stock | 2022-08-15 (may have changed) | | [Dynamite Tool](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/GtozhivFkt4LKbo8qBZN/offers/4oZuiqrakMoAIvmUSVb7?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $269.00 | In Stock | 2022-08-15 (may have changed) | [See every retailer and the full price history on ShopSavvy](https://shopsavvy.com/products/makita-xwt08z-impact-wrench) --- *About this page: ShopSavvy compares prices across thousands of retailers, aggregates expert and user reviews, and tracks price history to help you make informed buying decisions.
