# Makita ImpactX 35 Pc. Bit Set *Published: 2026-01-06 | Updated: 2026-01-06 | Source: https://shopsavvy.com/products/makita-impactx-35-pc.-bit-set* --- **Brand:** Makita **Price Range:** $4.2 - $41.54 across 67 retailers ## Pros - The bits have held up well after extensive use, showing minimal wear and good durability. - Overall, the set offers great value with a good quantity of bits and a high-quality case. - The case is designed for maximum storage capacity and features a removable long side hinge tube for storing drill bits. - Exceptional bit retention ensures high efficiency, preventing bits from getting stuck during use. - The innovative tube for longer bits enhances sturdiness and functionality. - The materials used for the case are less susceptible to cracking compared to competitors. - Strong magnetism is noted for most bits, enhancing their usability. - Highly durable design, recommended for both home use and professional applications. - The latch design is thicker yet flexible, outperforming similar products like Dewalt tough boxes. - A comprehensive kit suitable for beginners, containing almost everything needed. ## Cons - The bit holder can grip the bits too tightly, making removal challenging without tools like needlenose pliers. - Some users reported that the magnetic strength on certain bits could be improved. - Difficulty pulling bits out initially may frustrate some users, even though it improves with regular use. - While the set includes a variety of bits, it is not recommended for nut driving applications. - Some may find the larger case size unnecessary compared to more compact alternatives. ##
