# Mae Ploy Chili Sauce *Published: 2026-10-01 | Updated: 2026-10-01 | Source: https://shopsavvy.com/products/mae-ploy-chili-sauce* --- **Brand:** Mae Ploy **Price Range:** $2.89 - $50.58 across 28 retailers ## Pros - Contains only water and coconut, with no added sugars or stabilizers like guar gum, appealing to those seeking clean ingredients. - The flavor is consistently praised as great and authentic coconut taste, enhancing various recipes. - Versatile for use in soups, sauces, smoothies, and ice cream, making it a handy pantry staple. - Comes in cartons that can be stored in the cupboard before opening, offering convenience. - Free of gums and fillers, and does not separate like brands with stabilizers, maintaining a clean consistency. - Suitable as a dairy and milk substitute for keto-friendly recipes with minimal gut discomfort. - Works well in coffee, hot chocolate, and baking, with some reviewers mentioning it can create foam when shaken. - Larger quantity for the price, making it an economical option compared to canned coconut milk. - Can be frozen for large batches without loss of quality; great value when buying in bulk. - Mae Ploy offers a good range of flavors at a more affordable price than supermarket brands, according to user reviews. ## Cons - Several cartons arrived sour, curdled, or chunky, indicating spoilage before expiration for some users. - Broken seals on containers suggest possible packaging issues, affecting freshness and safety. - Coconut tends to clump inside the bottle, making it difficult to mix or thin out. - Some cartons leaked during delivery, likely due to handling conditions, and damaged items cannot be returned, causing frustration. - Ingredient labeling can be misleading; an emulsifier (likely polysorbate 60) is included despite the label indicating only coconut and water, raising health concerns for sensitive individuals. - Not easily recyclable packaging adds environmental concerns. - Initial batches were lumpy or weird, though subsequent batches improved, indicating inconsistency. - The flavor of the product can be quite strong and coconut-heavy, which may not suit everyone's taste. - Some users experienced an inconsistent product quality when bought in bulk, with some cartons having a strong sour smell. ## Specifications | Attribute | Value | |-----------|-------| | UPC | 084909015860 044738072342 | | ASIN | B01GCX7NG2 | | Size | 25 Fl Oz (Pack of 1) | | Flavor | Chili | | Cuisine | Thai | | Set Name | Mae Ploy Sweet Chili Sauce | | Diet Type | Halal | | Specialty | Dairy Free | | Brand Name | Mae Ploy | | Unit Count | 25 Fluid Ounces | | Item Weight | 920 g | | Part Number | Ven_FD39-159 | | Manufacturer | MAE PLOY | | Model Number | 44738072342 | | Container Type | Bottle | | Item Type Name | food | | Customer Reviews | 4.6 out of 5 stars 597Reviews | | Best Sellers Rank | #32,311 in Grocery & Gourmet Food (See Top 100 in Grocery & Gourmet Food) #65 in Chili Sauces | ## About This Product Mae Ploy, Chili Sauce Sweet, 25 Fl Oz ## Current Prices | Retailer | Price | Availability | |----------|-------|-------------| | [Zing Asia Oriental Food](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/6W4Mnc223W42rw30lzgP/offers/MLYQanqaYlc30UUyk8fA?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $2.89 | Check | | [Wai Yee Hong](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/6W4Mnc223W42rw30lzgP/offers/5uNBIzgB8lpm2ZrQobCF?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $2.95 | Check | | [Sous Chef](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/6W4Mnc223W42rw30lzgP/offers/5Z4w4jDPzxtdIGSnJyYI?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $3.49 | Check | | [Starry Mart](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/6W4Mnc223W42rw30lzgP/offers/E27MjUJWgUpJRAKEjOJP?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $3.50 | Check | | [The Asian Cookshop](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/6W4Mnc223W42rw30lzgP/offers/dRCOts1uVjI4lD2xO0d1?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $3.99 | Check | | [eastsideasianmarket.com](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/6W4Mnc223W42rw30lzgP/offers/mtdIbLXG62bA6LEJj0vw?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $4.49 | Check | | [Instacart](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/6W4Mnc223W42rw30lzgP/offers/iyoz21l6PsbHEMQUYmhy?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $4.59 | Check | | [itemroot](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/6W4Mnc223W42rw30lzgP/offers/fZAiJLbFJIYVQLC6I0ox?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $5.75 | Check | | [R&T Asian Market of Williamsport](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/6W4Mnc223W42rw30lzgP/offers/cRp5jjee5p37vGwpzxCg?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $5.95 | Check | | [Yummy Bazaar](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/6W4Mnc223W42rw30lzgP/offers/djHnSm8FtGze9Gomyy7r?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $5.95 | Check | | [cub.com](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/6W4Mnc223W42rw30lzgP/offers/bk-65f37974d6b1290928da44ee95de0e9a?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $6.69 | Check | | [filipinomarketllc.com](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/6W4Mnc223W42rw30lzgP/offers/evijdBrULGBstL7k1MDK?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $6.99 | Check | | [Amazon](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/6W4Mnc223W42rw30lzgP/offers/1069cd9c-7889-ff09-be3c-79b0f16d453d?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $7.29 | Check | | [Sukli](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/6W4Mnc223W42rw30lzgP/offers/niLvICzvbY8lwf0EyArA?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $7.95 | Check | | [Asian Mart](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/6W4Mnc223W42rw30lzgP/offers/WblkNjDaGl0CLupZ5Reh?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $8.99 | Check | | [zhicay foods](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/6W4Mnc223W42rw30lzgP/offers/PX5kKe7PiTWa8A6YodfV?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $8.99 | Check | | [hmartdelivery](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/6W4Mnc223W42rw30lzgP/offers/eTGlVvFpoxROkqlTp5qB?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $9.99 | Check | | [Iron Core](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/6W4Mnc223W42rw30lzgP/offers/KaKp2MrxnSiEjfZ6VXZr?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $10.99 | Check | | [ShelHealth.Com](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/6W4Mnc223W42rw30lzgP/offers/iXT5V8rzMQwJuDMgVLbi?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $10.99 | Check | | [Fleekdealz.com](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/6W4Mnc223W42rw30lzgP/offers/xSfaQhF9PzKqfH1yY7zG?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $11.13 | Check | [See every retailer and the full price history on ShopSavvy](https://shopsavvy.com/products/mae-ploy-chili-sauce) --- *About this page: ShopSavvy compares prices across thousands of retailers, aggregates expert and user reviews, and tracks price history to help you make informed buying decisions.
