Ideal for providing warmth, especially in cold weather or when feeling unwell. - Evokes nostalgic memories and comfort, particularly when sick; a legacy from its advertising history on radio shows. - Quick and simple to prepare, with both stovetop and microwave options, making it perfect for busy days. - Appeals to both adults and children, making it family-friendly and suitable for picky eaters. - Less salty than many canned soups, with noodles that maintain a good texture. - Serves as a reliable pantry staple for quick and comforting meals. - Offers an easy base to customize with additional ingredients like low sodium chicken broth and vegetables for a more homemade taste. - Provides a sense of accomplishment for kids who can assist in its preparation. ## Cons - The packaging can be misleading, emphasizing 'Real Chicken' with 'flavor' in smaller text. - There are concerns about the naturalness of the ingredients, leading to some skepticism. - Described as a less satisfying option when compared to homemade chicken soup. - Availability issues have been reported, with inflated prices from some sellers due to stock shortages. ## Specifications | Attribute | Value | |-----------|-------| | brand | Lipton | | productName | Lipton Soup Secrets Instant Soup Mix Extra Noodle | | cookingMethod | stovetop, microwave | | commonUse | quick meal, sick comfort | | sodiumContent | lower than some canned versions | | packagingNote | Caution: similar packages may contain different products | ## Last Seen Prices | Retailer | Price | Availability | Last seen | Store's standard terms | |----------|-------|-------------|-----------|------------------------| | [Amazon](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/kLaRT5Q97S4QTkb2aCVr/offers/773c9108-569a-f5e2-ca0b-a49bb0968055?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $1.00 | In Stock | 2024-05-15 (may have changed) | | | [Fleet Farm](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/kLaRT5Q97S4QTkb2aCVr/offers/267ecc7a-e1b0-bbfa-678e-09bc89b27664?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $1.89 | In Stock | 2025-05-13 (may have changed) | | | [hilitefreshmarket.com](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/kLaRT5Q97S4QTkb2aCVr/offers/6fa317c5-2ce3-4494-506d-19f11ac2225e?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $1.89 | In Stock | 2025-05-13 (may have changed) | | | [Target](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/kLaRT5Q97S4QTkb2aCVr/offers/768155de-1825-62bc-25d2-a41447d8b9b5?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $1.89 | In Stock | 2024-05-15 (may have changed) | 90-day returns (in store too) · free return shipping · free shipping on $35+ | | [Publix Delivery](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/kLaRT5Q97S4QTkb2aCVr/offers/uy0CqPu36UEtWQxeQmHs?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $2.11 | In Stock | 2022-07-11 (may have changed) | | | [Uber Eats](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/kLaRT5Q97S4QTkb2aCVr/offers/45b35a63-a152-675d-4a0f-bcfea0e3f760?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $2.28 | In Stock | 2025-05-13 (may have changed) | | | [Schnucks Delivers](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/kLaRT5Q97S4QTkb2aCVr/offers/lsEPch7EprTmvGmZ41Mi?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $2.39 | In Stock | 2025-05-13 (may have changed) | | | [Mercato.com](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/kLaRT5Q97S4QTkb2aCVr/offers/8GRvnV40SHDrJzHVmDzm?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $2.49 | In Stock | 2025-05-13 (may have changed) | | | [Instacart](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/kLaRT5Q97S4QTkb2aCVr/offers/PyxNJNKLHbAxV44GqaB8?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $2.53 | In Stock | 2025-05-13 (may have changed) | | | [Publix Delivery](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/kLaRT5Q97S4QTkb2aCVr/offers/YhFSWSGnthgzZ2jXAJbo?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $2.53 | In Stock | 2025-05-13 (may have changed) | | | [Holiday Market](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/kLaRT5Q97S4QTkb2aCVr/offers/11f4c8be-b373-2112-0680-46845b6a3594?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $2.55 | In Stock | 2025-05-13 (may have changed) | | | [DoorDash.com](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/kLaRT5Q97S4QTkb2aCVr/offers/1bec6d7c-4920-8a32-bad4-1927c2ad3a72?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $2.89 | In Stock | 2025-05-13 (may have changed) | | | [Raley's Dev](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/kLaRT5Q97S4QTkb2aCVr/offers/e7ad1408-24e9-b70f-37c8-e8d4e16b7335?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $2.96 | In Stock | 2025-05-13 (may have changed) | | | [Walmart](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/kLaRT5Q97S4QTkb2aCVr/offers/vUHfxBnOEFPciAOhXQPj?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $3.07 | In Stock | 2025-05-13 (may have changed) | 90-day returns (in store too) | | [ShopFoodEx.com](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/kLaRT5Q97S4QTkb2aCVr/offers/nVflRMcCmsHnxxxJi6bT?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $3.29 | In Stock | 2025-05-13 (may have changed) | | | [TrueGether](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/kLaRT5Q97S4QTkb2aCVr/offers/b3f4f3f1-577d-eba7-19f0-80bbf7204d88?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $3.39 | In Stock | 2025-05-13 (may have changed) | | | [rehmie.com](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/kLaRT5Q97S4QTkb2aCVr/offers/LbS6z7T3SeVl6XtHiteK?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $3.48 | In Stock | 2022-07-21 (may have changed) | | *Store terms are each retailer's standard return and shipping policy from ShopSavvy's retailer research; some products and categories differ, so check with the store before buying.* [See every retailer and the full price history on ShopSavvy](https://shopsavvy.com/products/lipton-extra-noodle-soup-mix) --- *About this page: ShopSavvy compares prices across thousands of retailers, aggregates expert and user reviews, and tracks price history to help you make informed buying decisions.
