**Brand:** LG
**Price Range:** $499 across 1 retailers

## Pros
- Plays Blu-ray (2D/3D) and DVDs from virtually all regions (A, B, C for Blu-ray and regions 1-6 for DVD) flawlessly, offering true zone-free convenience.
- Upscales content to 4K UHD with impressive sharpness and clean picture quality, particularly noticeable on compatible 3D TVs.
- Supports a broad range of disc formats, including optical picture DVDs and audio CDs, without hiccups.
- Offers reliable streaming of Netflix and YouTube Premium via built-in apps, suitable for casual streaming needs.
- Compatible with both WiFi and Ethernet connections, providing flexible options for network setup.
- Fiber optic audio output is included, delivering good sound quality for home theater setups.
- Provides access to international 3D Blu-ray titles with English audio, expanding your movie library beyond region restrictions.
- User interface is simple and easy to navigate.
- Considered a strong upgrade or replacement for older 3D Blu-ray players that lack region-free functionality.

## Cons
- Remote control functionality is underwhelming and could be significantly improved for better user experience.
- Streaming options are very limited, supporting only Netflix and YouTube Premium; lacks popular apps and services found on other players.
- No DLNA support, which means it cannot stream media from NAS devices or other local network sources, a surprising omission for a player at this price point.
- Some users have reported skipping and unreliable playback, which could cause frustration especially during important viewing.
- The overall build or operational quality may feel lacking compared to competitors; not the most premium feeling option out there.
