# LEGO Speed Champions Mercedes-AMG Set *Published: 2025-01-03 | Updated: 2025-02-07 | Source: https://shopsavvy.com/products/lego-speed-champions-mercedes-amg-set* --- **Brand:** LEGO **Price Range:** $14.99 - $111.99 across 50 retailers ## Pros - The Speed Champions series maintains its high standard with this set, offering highly detailed and well-designed models. - The SL Roadster has an intriguing design, with features like a back seat and a sticker engine that can be revealed. - The G-Wagen is remarkably larger with unique fender and greenhouse designs, accommodating four minifigures with additional storage. - Both models look fantastic and perform well, with the convertible model being especially smooth and enjoyable to build. - Minimal use of stickers enhances the clean, realistic look, with innovative building techniques maximizing detail. - The G 63's substantial build and the SL 63's beautiful curved design make them stand out. - The set provides a great value for money with its 808 pieces, serving as a fantastic parts pack for custom creations. - The set is highly recommended for fans, especially given its reasonable price compared to single car sets. - The inclusion of different types of cars like the stock car is appreciated by collectors. - The set is a great addition for display or as part of a LEGO city setup. ## Cons - The Lego/Puzzle concept needs improvement for better stability; pieces, particularly L-shaped ones on the SUV, can be poorly secured. - Some parts like the SUV model's can wobble or become loose during construction, affecting build quality. - Instruction manual images can be confusing, with color representations not clearly depicted. - The SUV build is considered tedious, heavily relying on basic bricks with limited creative techniques. - Rear windows are fragile and flimsy, potentially compromising durability. - Low clearance from the ground may cause issues when moving over bumps. - It is slightly oversized for the minifigure scale, potentially impacting integration with existing LEGO sets. - Considered expensive for some, depending on previous purchases and price expectations. ## About This Product Boys and girls ages 10 and up can now own this awesome Mercedes double pack of buildable LEGO Speed Champions F1 toy cars.
