# Lafeber's Tropical Fruit Nutri-Berries *Published: 2026-01-30 | Updated: 2026-01-30 | Source: https://shopsavvy.com/products/lafebers-tropical-fruit-nutri-berries* --- **Brand:** LAFEBER'S **Price Range:** $7.56 - $49.99 across 72 retailers ## Pros - Cockatiels and other parakeets readily accept and enjoy these treats, often preferring them over other favorite foods - Provides balanced nutrition that effectively encourages birds to diversify from seed-only diets - Combines nutrition with enrichment—encourages natural foraging behavior, foot use, and slower, more engaged eating - Safe enough to offer frequently and can be used effectively as a training reward - Made from high-grade seeds with added vitamins and recommended by avian veterinarians - Offers a different texture and eating experience that keeps birds mentally stimulated - Treats appear fresh, soft, and chewy with good nutritional value ## Cons - Product quality has declined noticeably in recent months, with batches becoming drier - Tends to arrive partially crumbled or in clumped form rather than intact individual pieces - Some birds lose interest over time or may reject them entirely - May not appeal to older birds with established food preferences - Not all bird species will enjoy them (some individual birds have refused to eat them) ##
