**Brand:** K18
**Price Range:** $31.49 - $39 across 10 retailers

## Pros
- Provides a deep, clarifying cleanse that effectively removes buildup, excess oil, dirt, and metals in just one wash without harshness.
- Sulfate-free and non-stripping formula that leaves hair feeling clean, soft, and naturally voluminous without dryness or that annoying squeaky feeling.
- pH-optimized to maintain hair and scalp health, making it safe and effective for color-treated and heat-styled hair.
- Enhances the absorption and effectiveness of peptide-based and bond-building treatments, such as the K18 hair mask.
- Creates a refreshing, subtle scent and lathers well even with a small amount.
- Instantly improves scalp cleanliness and hair manageability, leaving hair smoother, shinier, and lighter.
- Particularly beneficial for oily scalps, controlling oiliness and preventing greasy roots after treatments like scalp oiling.
- Can be used as a prep shampoo before deep conditioning or repair treatments for enhanced results.
- Makes hair dry faster despite thick or long hair, improving styling ease.
- Noticeable improvement in hair thickness, softness, volume, and overall quality after consistent use.

## Cons
- Can cause dryness if used alone without following up with a good conditioner or nourishing mask.
- Recommended use is limited to once or twice a week (or even less frequently) due to strong clarifying effects, which might be inconvenient for some users.
- Price is on the higher side, justified mostly by its performance but may not suit all budgets.
- Not ideal for daily use, which may deter those looking for an everyday gentle shampoo.
- Some users need to pair it with the K18 mask or a similarly hydrating conditioner to avoid dryness and maintain softness.
