# Joseph Joseph Silicone Tongs *Published: 2024-04-25 | Updated: 2024-12-03 | Source: https://shopsavvy.com/products/joseph-joseph-silicone-tongs* --- **Brand:** Joseph Joseph **Price Range:** $6.99 - $85.13 across 19 retailers ## Pros - Attractive design with a nice aesthetic appeal. - Rubber and silicone grips provide a comfortable hold. - Locking mechanism for storage is a good ergonomic feature. - BPA-free, ensuring a safe cooking experience. - Versatile for different cooking styles, such as frying or grilling meats. - Sturdy construction contributes to durability. - Dishwasher safe for easy cleaning. - Comfortable to hold with a straightforward clasp for secure closure. - Designed primarily for turning tasks, effectively flipping lighter items. ## Cons - Poorly positioned hook affects usability and makes locking tricky. - Difficult to use at natural angles for pinching, impacting functionality. - Struggles with basic tasks like flipping toasted sandwiches. - Clips inside the grip hinder the ability to close properly around food. - Plastic feels flimsy; could benefit from being stiffer and more textured. - Ineffective for thicker foods; material and construction are too soft. - Awkward to use in deeper pans and does not open wide enough for certain tasks. - Locking function contributes to a flimsy grip, lacking holding power for heavier items. - Disappointing performance, considered a waste of money. ## Specifications | Attribute | Value | |-----------|-------| | model | 10142 | | color | Orange | | material | Silicone | | brand | Joseph Joseph | | manufacturer | Joseph Joseph | | productType | Tongs | ## Last Seen Prices | Retailer | Price | Availability | Last seen | Store's standard terms | |----------|-------|-------------|-----------|------------------------| | [Zulily](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/0kHIPOf4ME4viofJaoIN/offers/SNl4YnpWKnZ91KtJPQsB?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $6.99 | In Stock | 2019-10-14 (may have changed) | 30-day returns | | [Max Warehouse](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/0kHIPOf4ME4viofJaoIN/offers/z9pgGkWSjKaxyB5OjPqa?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $7.61 | In Stock | 2019-10-14 (may have changed) | | | [Reasor's](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/0kHIPOf4ME4viofJaoIN/offers/WWgG7R6KeIv0OjENUzjs?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $7.99 | In Stock | 2023-05-16 (may have changed) | | | [Ace Hardware](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/0kHIPOf4ME4viofJaoIN/offers/QJHqtBkYdsuE3KANVqB8?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $9.99 | In Stock | 2019-10-14 (may have changed) | 30-day returns (in store too) · free shipping on $50+ | | [Bed Bath & Beyond](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/0kHIPOf4ME4viofJaoIN/offers/zIcSJj38xMUs4ptoXgbZ?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $9.99 | In Stock | 2019-10-14 (may have changed) | | | [Steelz](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/0kHIPOf4ME4viofJaoIN/offers/sVrALsB9W7xnum3IvDrC?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $10.00 | In Stock | 2019-10-14 (may have changed) | | | [SELFRIDGES US](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/0kHIPOf4ME4viofJaoIN/offers/WPMDcvq5b7wKErbV7AKz?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $11.00 | In Stock | 2023-05-16 (may have changed) | | | [Joseph Joseph](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/0kHIPOf4ME4viofJaoIN/offers/snyWe6k1YohoWMG90AJ0?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $12.00 | In Stock | 2019-10-14 (may have changed) | | | [Amazon](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/0kHIPOf4ME4viofJaoIN/offers/SY8b07RSih3ZiLEhscVB?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $12.29 | In Stock | 2023-01-07 (may have changed) | 30-day returns (in store too) | | [www.zestbillings.com](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/0kHIPOf4ME4viofJaoIN/offers/jtzm9rVHyh0dhSNFssxj?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $12.95 | In Stock | 2023-05-16 (may have changed) | | | [Walmart](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/0kHIPOf4ME4viofJaoIN/offers/33Ok47aUWyXUqMqwQLhS?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $13.95 | In Stock | 2023-03-29 (may have changed) | | | [FlatwareOutlet](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/0kHIPOf4ME4viofJaoIN/offers/avsmm7kr9vdPDIS8d27Z?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $14.39 | In Stock | 2023-05-16 (may have changed) | | | [Foodtensils](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/0kHIPOf4ME4viofJaoIN/offers/G713Le74Wiu6AZJj2Z2r?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $14.39 | In Stock | 2023-05-16 (may have changed) | | | [Little Red Hen](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/0kHIPOf4ME4viofJaoIN/offers/obSYOUBmqlEKDjrswOG5?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $14.99 | In Stock | 2023-05-16 (may have changed) | | | [The Accent Shop](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/0kHIPOf4ME4viofJaoIN/offers/BFzmRmpEb2NLqT1dYc0S?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $18.95 | In Stock | 2023-05-16 (may have changed) | | | [Bonanza](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/0kHIPOf4ME4viofJaoIN/offers/AX37hqkVpYm0uGXpwcV3?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $20.00 | In Stock | 2023-05-11 (may have changed) | | | [bigamart.com](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/0kHIPOf4ME4viofJaoIN/offers/4lA3S1znOwnrNsFWEpxG?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $33.99 | In Stock | 2023-02-26 (may have changed) | | | [Rakuten.com](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/0kHIPOf4ME4viofJaoIN/offers/V2U5wrB0RgTogDTezySN?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $47.79 | In Stock | 2019-10-14 (may have changed) | | | [Fishpond.com](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/0kHIPOf4ME4viofJaoIN/offers/FouMCv2KRzO8NFe9ux7X?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $85.13 | In Stock | 2019-10-14 (may have changed) | | *Store terms are each retailer's standard return and shipping policy from ShopSavvy's retailer research;
