# InSinkErator Evolution Septic Assist *Published: 2024-12-24 | Updated: 2025-02-12 | Source: https://shopsavvy.com/products/insinkerator-evolution-septic-assist* --- **Brand:** InSinkErator **Price Range:** $99.9 - $480.6 across 75 retailers ## Pros - Effectively works with septic tanks and includes enzyme injection for rural systems. - Operates extremely quietly, with many users noting a significant reduction in noise compared to older models. - Offers reliable performance with high-quality, durable construction. - Easy to install, with options to reuse existing components and clear installation instructions. - Features ample power for efficient grinding, effectively handling tough food scraps. - Provides a comfortable fit under most sinks, despite being slightly larger than older models. ## Cons - Additional liquid enzyme may be needed, with a bottle lasting approximately 3 months. - Requires manual input of food waste, as it doesn't support washing down scraps with a sprayer. - Doesn't include an enzyme solution in the package. - Does not support the EZ connect plug, requiring hard wiring or an adapter. - Some users experienced bubbling due to restricted airflow from the sound-dampening flange. ##
