Simple design and ease of use make this thermostat user-friendly. - Installation is straightforward and takes about 15 minutes, even for those without electrical skills. - Compatible with older heating systems, making it a great option for updates. - Batteries last up to two years, reducing maintenance. - Effective in regulating summer temperatures, shutting off automatically once desired temperature is reached. - Features straightforward, easy-to-understand operations, without the need for programming. - Highly recommended for older systems due to its successful installation in a 57-year-old hydronic heating system. ## Cons - Low temp lockout feature prevents heat activation below 25 degrees, not suitable for freezing conditions. - The thermostat can inaccurately display the indoor climate, fluctuating 2 degrees from the set temperature. - No backlight feature, which could be inconvenient for night adjustments. - Cover removal during installation can be a bit challenging. - Some units reported to have a defect in temperature accuracy, confirmed by customer support. ## Specifications | Attribute | Value | |-----------|-------| | model | RTH111B1024 | | brand | Honeywell | | product_type | Digital Thermostat | | color | White | | dimensionsUnit | inches | | weight | Unknown | | battery_life | 2 years | | year_purchased | 2018 | ## Last Seen Prices | Retailer | Price | Availability | Last seen | |----------|-------|-------------|-----------| | [My Store](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/hvXrK80MB7dqs7gqfjb6/offers/uvEYBH32ybYfrKZWOyrw?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $9.57 | In Stock | 2023-05-01 (may have changed) | | [Bonanza](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/hvXrK80MB7dqs7gqfjb6/offers/zUsJpvsmWHdBs4XPYEvD?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $14.85 | In Stock | 2023-09-01 (may have changed) | | [My Store](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/hvXrK80MB7dqs7gqfjb6/offers/KWMAO3zoEbLxKr9nDRQR?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $15.00 | In Stock | 2023-05-01 (may have changed) | | [My Store](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/hvXrK80MB7dqs7gqfjb6/offers/DcqtBXTAFEoWI24xhs0i?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $15.00 | In Stock | 2023-05-01 (may have changed) | | [My Store](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/hvXrK80MB7dqs7gqfjb6/offers/fggQaPv371Ekh5fnfwly?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $15.00 | In Stock | 2023-05-01 (may have changed) | | [My Store](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/hvXrK80MB7dqs7gqfjb6/offers/zaA6S17kkm31fJfsb5gk?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $15.00 | In Stock | 2023-05-05 (may have changed) | | [Jackson Systems & Supply](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/hvXrK80MB7dqs7gqfjb6/offers/3b2ZBRnQchMwiRsQx26i?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $16.99 | In Stock | 2025-02-23 (may have changed) | | [Jackson Systems & Supply](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/hvXrK80MB7dqs7gqfjb6/offers/taWcR7JxQ4sF9QcQFKEm?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $16.99 | In Stock | 2022-08-16 (may have changed) | | [Blain's Farm & Fleet](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/hvXrK80MB7dqs7gqfjb6/offers/CC0U22D6AjdChVsf39cu?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $17.99 | In Stock | 2022-08-16 (may have changed) | | [PrairieGrit](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/hvXrK80MB7dqs7gqfjb6/offers/BcfrTe9Gl4k0cFN2bowg?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $18.00 | In Stock | 2023-04-07 (may have changed) | | [Hardware World](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/hvXrK80MB7dqs7gqfjb6/offers/8S4KqfoLY1DK0JicDEoG?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $18.98 | In Stock | 2025-02-23 (may have changed) | | [blain farm & fleet](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/hvXrK80MB7dqs7gqfjb6/offers/Nhnwb6i52XNGmRP47Dv4?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $18.99 | In Stock | 2025-02-23 (may have changed) | | [Market America Brands / Shop.com](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/hvXrK80MB7dqs7gqfjb6/offers/Q6NNXvdgDtUnfG0LeOVQ?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $19.77 | In Stock | 2023-06-06 (may have changed) | | [Fleet Farm](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/hvXrK80MB7dqs7gqfjb6/offers/qEWm8OB2bxWuyuuhYxeJ?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $19.99 | In Stock | 2023-08-23 (may have changed) | | [Garland Home Center](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/hvXrK80MB7dqs7gqfjb6/offers/1a0350f0-c4f5-3fda-1a9d-4d4f033ed981?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $19.99 | In Stock | 2025-02-23 (may have changed) | | [Menards](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/hvXrK80MB7dqs7gqfjb6/offers/bcbaf1cf-615a-8572-7e02-7113eec0e6ee?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $19.99 | In Stock | 2025-02-23 (may have changed) | | [Mercari](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/hvXrK80MB7dqs7gqfjb6/offers/ILyAbSt3TGcFaTPebKib?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $20.00 | In Stock | 2025-02-23 (may have changed) | | [Shell Lumber and Hardware](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/hvXrK80MB7dqs7gqfjb6/offers/h9qt06VT6a7Ew6ddbdKf?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $20.56 | In Stock | 2022-08-16 (may have changed) | | [SHC Supply](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/hvXrK80MB7dqs7gqfjb6/offers/UX0uYBaIBIqxU0ojfhpQ?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $20.67 | In Stock | 2023-09-01 (may have changed) | | [Amazon](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/hvXrK80MB7dqs7gqfjb6/offers/rBHbA8HsoDjDX03R6GL5?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $20.99 | In Stock | 2022-07-25 (may have changed) | [See every retailer and the full price history on ShopSavvy](https://shopsavvy.com/products/honeywell-rth111b-thermostat) --- *About this page: ShopSavvy compares prices across thousands of retailers, aggregates expert and user reviews, and tracks price history to help you make informed buying decisions.
