# HME Game Hanging Gambrel *Published: 2025-01-07 | Updated: 2025-02-14 | Source: https://shopsavvy.com/products/hme-game-hanging-gambrel* --- **Brand:** HME **Price Range:** $13.34 - $217.5 across 107 retailers ## Pros - Highly effective and performs well for lifting heavy items with its 500 lb capacity. - Versatile pulley system suitable for various applications beyond hunting. - Offers significant mechanical advantage over a single pulley setup. - Capable of lifting heavy objects like deer completely independently. - Great value for the price, serving as a solid replacement for previous hoists. - The locking mechanism is effective, although it requires some practice. - Excellent quality and overall functionality. - Highly recommended by many users. ## Cons - Requires help and effort to lift larger weights like a small buck. - The supplied rope is low quality, hard on hands, and may require an upgrade. - Plastic rollers raise concerns about long-term durability. - Setup can be complex due to unclear instructions and requires pulley familiarity. - Users struggled with the rope slipping out of the pulley when slack is introduced. - Difficulty in releasing the rope from the metal stop may complicate use. - Setup is tricky, especially when engaging the locking mechanism. ## Specifications | Attribute | Value | |-----------|-------| | model | 4:1 Game Hanging Gambrel | | mpn | Not specified | | barcode | Not specified | | sku | Not specified | | weight | varies (described as able to lift up to 500 lb) | | color | Not specified | | material | plastic components, braided white cord suggested | | brand | HME Products | | manufacturer | HME Products | ## Last Seen Prices | Retailer | Price | Availability | Last seen | |----------|-------|-------------|-----------| | [BigSupplyShop.com](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/32HolPVF3y14QtrJgmDx/offers/KiPR53W3ADH7IDdexwvG?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $13.34 | In Stock | 2022-10-11 (may have changed) | | [Great Life Outdoors](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/32HolPVF3y14QtrJgmDx/offers/HjbXFcwrGwo272GxcUuq?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $13.95 | In Stock | 2023-05-06 (may have changed) | | [The Outdoor Warehouse](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/32HolPVF3y14QtrJgmDx/offers/wrkETyq7DfpCBB9gxnvr?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $13.95 | In Stock | 2022-07-27 (may have changed) | | [Explosive Powersports](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/32HolPVF3y14QtrJgmDx/offers/w9Y7t98WhyNrggIiKoO2?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $13.99 | In Stock | 2023-07-20 (may have changed) | | [Slingmoto](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/32HolPVF3y14QtrJgmDx/offers/23126a87-49f4-cb4c-3804-2a82a9d39a74?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $14.99 | In Stock | 2025-02-14 (may have changed) | | [ABC Conferencing -
