# Hebrew National Bun Length Beef Franks *Published: 2024-05-15 | Updated: 2024-12-04 | Source: https://shopsavvy.com/products/hebrew-national-bun-length-beef-franks* --- **Brand:** Hebrew National **Price Range:** $4.49 - $12.09 across 13 retailers ## Pros - Hebrew National Bun Length Beef Franks are highly regarded for their superior taste compared to other brands. - Popular in the catering industry, especially in Los Angeles, where they're the top-requested hot dog. - These franks are 97% fat-free and low in preservatives, providing a healthier option compared to other mass-produced hot dogs. - The texture and flavor closely resemble that of a genuine beef hot dog, offering great value for social cookouts and gatherings. - They don't trigger migraines, unlike competitors with added ingredients. ## Cons - Disappointment with the reduction in quantity from seven franks per package to six is significant, perceived as 'shrinkflation' by consumers. - Some reviewers found Hebrew National franks to be saltier and denser than preferred, comparing them unfavorably to Nathan's hot dogs. - The presence of soy protein could be problematic for those with soy intolerances, with requests for a soy-free version due to health concerns. - Recent quality issues, such as greasiness and even mold, have raised concerns about product consistency and storage. - Supply chain shortages have created availability issues, leading to frustration particularly during peak demand periods. ## About This Product Hebrew National Bun Length Beef Franks start with premium cuts of 100% kosher beef with an original spice blend dating back to 1905 for the delicious flavor that families have loved for generations.
