**Brand:** Gramercy Kitchen Company
**Price Range:** $14 - $55.97 across 6 retailers

## Pros
- Cuts cleanly, quickly, and consistently, delivering uniform slices perfect for dehydrating foods.
- Sharp blades maintain their edge well, remaining effective even after years of use.
- Highly versatile with adjustable blades for julienne, French fries, and crinkle cuts.
- Stainless steel construction is sturdy, stable, and easy to clean by hand or dishwasher.
- Comes with a pair of cut-resistant gloves and a food holder for safer operation.
- The blade is extremely sharp and slices through vegetables with minimal effort.
- Includes a cleaning brush to get between blades efficiently.
- Many users highly recommend it for kitchen precision and quality slicing.
- The product enhances kitchen prep and simplifies slicing of various fruits and vegetables.

## Cons
- Food holder struggles to grip small or narrow end pieces securely, causing some food waste.
- Producing genuine waffle fries is tricky; the slicer tends to create thin waffle-like cuts requiring practice.
- Extremely sharp blades pose a significant safety risk; users must exercise caution with handling and cleaning.
- The included black plastic guard is less effective for slippery foods like lemons, which tend to slip inside after a few slices.
- Adjusting the guard can be awkward, sometimes leading to the blade cutting into the guard itself, raising safety concerns.
- Cleaning takes longer than just using a knife, especially due to the sharp blades and components.
- A dish towel or bare hands are insufficient protection from the sharp edges — always use the gloves.
