## Pros
- Provides accurate and consistent temperature and humidity readings, including reliable monitoring even below the stated minimum temperature (-9°F tested).
- Easy to set up and use, with seamless Bluetooth pairing that doesn't require a hub or app registration, ideal for homes without WiFi routers.
- Bluetooth connection is strong with a connecting range of up to 262 feet, maintaining signals well even through obstructions like metal up to 10 feet away.
- The companion Govee app is reliable and user-friendly, offering detailed daily high, low, and average temperature and humidity data along with useful notification alerts.
- Notification alerts are customizable, with support for personal ringtones to improve effectiveness for temperature and humidity changes.
- Compact, lightweight design makes placement easy in various environments, including inside instruments or refrigerators.
- Data storage and export features allow tracking and analysis of environmental conditions over time.
- Battery life is long-lasting with a high-capacity CR2477 coin cell included, and the battery compartment is secured with screws for child and pet safety.
- The app includes widgets for quick status checks with Dark/Light modes and different sizes, integrating well into iOS devices.

## Cons
- The app widgets’ temperature and humidity readings are quite small and cluttered with redundant images, reducing readability.
- Widgets lack customization options for displaying user-preferred measurements, which can frustrate users wanting a clearer glance at data.
- The device could benefit from an additional mounting hole for improved stability during installation.
- The use of the uncommon CR2477 battery may cause inconvenience due to its limited availability in some local stores.
- The temperature shown on widgets may sometimes be outdated, requiring users to open the full app to refresh readings.
- Packaging was noted to be excessive and not environmentally friendly.
