## Pros
- Disposable menstrual discs can be worn for up to 12 hours without needing to be changed after bathroom use, offering great convenience.
- They significantly reduce menstrual cramps and dryness compared to tampons.
- Insertion is beginner-friendly and simple—just pinch in half with no complicated folding needed.
- More comfortable and less irritating than tampons, menstrual cups, or pads due to smaller size and design.
- Self-emptying when urinating or having bowel movements reduces mess and minimizes leak risk.
- Provide a secure fit without requiring deep finger insertion to find the rim.
- Help reduce leaks, including overnight, outperforming pads and incontinence underwear.
- Larger capacity equivalent to about 5 super tampons helps speed up and potentially shorten the period duration.
- Discreet and reliable, providing a high level of confidence during use, even during long shifts or overnight.
- Easier to insert and remove than menstrual cups due to less suction and more flexibility.

## Cons
- The ring is large, tall, and rigid, which can be uncomfortable and noticeable for both the user and their partner during sex.
- Some users find the design and cleanup process messier and less discreet than advertised.
- A learning curve exists for insertion and removal, requiring some practice to become comfortable.
- Leakage can occasionally occur on very heavy flow days despite the high capacity.
- Not suitable for intimate times during menstruation due to the bulky ring and potential mess.
- The ring design is considered unappealing by some, likened to the top of a juice container.
- Feels awkward or uncomfortable to use initially, especially for beginners.
- Compared to traditional menstrual cups, some users don’t recommend the discs for overall period management.
