# FIJI Water 700mL Pack *Published: 2024-12-16 | Updated: 2025-02-05 | Source: https://shopsavvy.com/products/fiji-water-700ml-pack* --- **Brand:** FIJI **Price Range:** $0.99 - $22.99 across 42 retailers ## Pros - Contains silica, which may aid in detoxifying aluminum, making it beneficial for those concerned with heavy metals. - Taste is often described as crisp and refreshing, providing a nice contrast to the flat taste of some reverse osmosis water. - Offers a healthier alternative to typical bottled water due to its added minerals. - Occasionally available at a lower price at certain retailers during sales. ## Cons - Some find the product misrepresented as world's finest tasting water, reporting it does not deliver on taste expectations. - Critics claim the taste is comparable to inexpensive spring water, with some saying it's potentially worse than cheaper options. - Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) on the bottle claims to be 222 mg/L, but independent tests found discrepancies, reporting around 64 mg/L. - Concerns about the accuracy of silica content, believed to contribute to its soft and smooth taste, being lower than stated. - The significant discrepancy in reported versus tested water quality raises concerns about labeling accuracy and potential brand deception. ## Specifications | Attribute | Value | |-----------|-------| | product_name | FIJI Natural Artesian Water | | pack_size | 700mL Bottles (Pack of 12) | | total_dissolved_solids | 222 mg/L | | silica_content | 93 mg/L | | carbon_footprint | high | | ethical_issues | water source controversies | | taste | soft, smooth taste | | brand | FIJI | | manufacturer | FIJI Water | | bottle_material | plastic | | availability | 12% of inhabitants in Fiji lack access to clean drinking water | ## About This Product 700mL (23.7 oz) sports cap bottle of FIJI Water.
