# Epson Workforce Pro WF-7310 Printer *Published: 2026-03-04 | Updated: 2026-03-04 | Source: https://shopsavvy.com/products/epson-workforce-pro-wf-7310-printer* --- **Brand:** Epson **Price Range:** $60.3 - $475 across 31 retailers ## Pros - Produces high-quality, crisp prints with sharp text and vibrant colors, including large ledger-size (11x17) pages suitable for detailed documents like AutoCAD drawings. - Compatible with both stock and third-party XL cartridges, allowing for more economical ink options without sacrificing quality. - Reliable and durable over long-term use, with reports of consistent performance across thousands of pages without overheating or major issues. - Supports wireless and Ethernet connections with stable connectivity across Windows and Mac devices, plus easy and straightforward setup. - Features a user-friendly 2.4" color display and Smart Panel app for convenient control and operation. - Offers auto 2-sided printing and a large 500-sheet capacity, reducing frequent paper reloads and increasing productivity. - Prints relatively quickly for a prosumer wide-format printer while maintaining professional-level quality. - Efficient ink usage helps keep long-term running costs reasonable compared to other printers in this class. - Operates quietly and with a stable build, making it suitable for home or office use without frequent maintenance interruptions. ## Cons - The printer is quite heavy and bulky, requiring a sturdy and stable surface; not ideal if you need portability or frequent relocations. - Scanning functionality requires computer software to initiate, which can be inconvenient and less user-friendly than on-device scanning. - Firmware updates are persistent, sometimes blocking remanufactured ink cartridges, forcing use of genuine Epson cartridges and causing frustration. - Printer software and drivers have reported bugs causing repeated paper size and tray selection warnings despite correct settings. - Some users experience inconsistent printing performance with occasional paper feed errors and the need for repeated attempts or maintenance like head cleaning and alignment after cartridge changes. - Epson’s customer support has been described as unhelpful and dismissive when addressing technical issues. - Print speed may be slower than advertised, which could be a dealbreaker if you need rapid-volume printing. - The printer’s firmware continues to enforce restrictions on third-party ink despite court rulings, contributing to higher operating costs. ## Specifications | Attribute |
