## Pros
- Allows easy remote temperature control via smartphone, which is perfect for multi-story homes or managing from anywhere.
- Installation is generally straightforward with the included PEK kit and clear wiring guidance, supported by knowledgeable and friendly customer support.
- Sleek, modern touchscreen design that clearly displays temperature and humidity, enhancing the look and usability of any space.
- Reliable Wi-Fi connectivity with no reported connection issues ensures smooth smart home integration.
- Compatible with existing HVAC wiring setups, though some variability exists, customer support helps navigate this.
- Supports popular voice assistants including Siri, Alexa, and Google Assistant for hands-free control.
- Includes useful energy-saving features like Time-of-Use (TOU) plan support and room sensors to optimize comfort and efficiency.
- The iOS app provides access to historical energy reports and remote management, making it user-friendly once familiar.
- Performs reliably with accurate temperature control and responsive touchscreen adjustments directly on the unit.
- Great option for users looking for a simple, effective smart thermostat upgrade without extra frills like air quality monitoring.

## Cons
- The app’s interface is not very intuitive and requires too many clicks to access key features like away mode, which can be frustrating.
- The automatic sensor function for switching to away mode can be unreliable and inconsistent.
- Installation may be tricky due to the mounting plate design with screw holes only on top and bottom, increasing the risk of complications with vertical wiring.
- Does not include additional sensors or air quality monitors like some higher-end ecobee models, limiting some smart home capabilities.
- Some users found the setup process confusing without customer support, especially regarding wiring and power requirements.
- The need for a C wire or PEK kit can be a hurdle if your existing system wiring is unconventional.
- The touchscreen and app while functional, lack some polish and fluidity found in competitor products.
