# DEWALT 5-Piece Hammer Bit Set *Published: 2026-03-13 | Updated: 2026-03-13 | Source: https://shopsavvy.com/products/dewalt-5-piece-hammer-bit-set* --- **Brand:** DEWALT **Price Range:** $7.2 - $157.09 across 97 retailers ## Pros - The rock carbide tips provide excellent durability and maintain sharpness even after repeated use. - Designed specifically for effective drilling into concrete, brick, and masonry. - SDS Plus shank offers a secure fit in rotary hammer drills, preventing slipping and improving control. - Cuts through tough materials like granite and concrete smoothly and with minimal effort. - High-quality construction leads to long-lasting performance suitable for both pros and DIYers. - The bits remain sharp and create clean, precise holes. - The set includes a functional storage case with good capacity. - Offers good value for the price given the performance and durability. - Customer service stands out with hassle-free replacement under the no-break guarantee for defective bits. - Recommended particularly for tradespeople who need reliable hammer bits. ## Cons - The bits are smaller than some expect, ranging only from 1/4" to 1/2" in diameter, not larger sizes sometimes implied by pictures. - Bit length is roughly 5 inches, making them better suited for smaller drilling tasks rather than deep holes. - There have been rare reports of carbide tip chipping early, possibly due to manufacturing defects. - The storage case, while functional, could be more robust and durable. ## Specifications | Attribute | Value | |-----------|-------| | model | DW5470 | | brand | DEWALT | | material | rock carbide | | setSize | 5-piece | | productType | hammer bit set | ## Last Seen Prices | Retailer | Price | Availability | Last seen | |----------|-------|-------------|-----------| | [Actools](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/2pZglCrq25HnaoTwXr8s/offers/x9MFEGkGCpJkxl8CGdZ5?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $7.20 | In Stock | 2023-04-10 (may have changed) | | [Actools](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/2pZglCrq25HnaoTwXr8s/offers/kjEFr1e9DcPnI7u1QyIL?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $7.20 | In Stock | 2023-04-17 (may have changed) | | [WAM Kitchen](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/2pZglCrq25HnaoTwXr8s/offers/GNxpjZdJHrb5yRvxG62m?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $10.43 | In Stock | 2023-03-24 (may have changed) | | [Giftiks](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/2pZglCrq25HnaoTwXr8s/offers/2Wgt7jr4XUcz6qTSI6yA?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $12.79 | In Stock | 2023-07-13 (may have changed) | | [Circle C Supply](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/2pZglCrq25HnaoTwXr8s/offers/CAOsa9IIHHOu5hFPsiDL?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $12.90 | In Stock | 2023-07-13 (may have changed) | | [Tools & More](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/2pZglCrq25HnaoTwXr8s/offers/Odc5q1CP9LbJvPSIUImf?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $12.99 | In Stock | 2024-09-10 (may have changed) | | [Kuahl Home Supply](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/2pZglCrq25HnaoTwXr8s/offers/fGPRaYRBv4RWRnc90gfm?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $14.23 | In Stock | 2022-09-24 (may have changed) | | [Grainger Industrial Supply](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/2pZglCrq25HnaoTwXr8s/offers/EvuLfmZr9QW01hvwAcAI?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $15.00 | In Stock | 2022-08-16 (may have changed) | | [Zoro Tools Industrial Supplies](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/2pZglCrq25HnaoTwXr8s/offers/N2pxE13HHlcdg6bd3aT4?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $15.00 | In Stock | 2022-08-16 (may have changed) | | [Amazon](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/2pZglCrq25HnaoTwXr8s/offers/acc5e527-6ee4-41b4-2f59-c1fb03c9563c?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $15.13 | In Stock | 2024-09-10 (may have changed) | | [Grainger Industrial Supply](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/2pZglCrq25HnaoTwXr8s/offers/f9ixJ7ooSEbQANJofZyR?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $16.00 | In Stock | 2024-09-10 (may have changed) | | [Zoro](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/2pZglCrq25HnaoTwXr8s/offers/B5ELWb1wNQVuSXN9ivzj?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $16.00 | In Stock | 2024-09-10 (may have changed) | | [Express Tool Supply](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/2pZglCrq25HnaoTwXr8s/offers/cU5E6YnpmQPgCILLl9Ei?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $16.94 | In Stock | 2023-03-15 (may have changed) | | [Opentip.com](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/2pZglCrq25HnaoTwXr8s/offers/Stf8fsA5OfFxHpSryUsG?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $18.91 | In Stock | 2022-10-16 (may have changed) | | [Monsecta Depot](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/2pZglCrq25HnaoTwXr8s/offers/D2gQZVBvOp1I3C9IOSdy?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $18.97 | In Stock | 2022-11-22 (may have changed) | | [Monsecta Depot](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/2pZglCrq25HnaoTwXr8s/offers/2XkAv1izrx2a2NIxpqic?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $18.97 | In Stock | 2022-08-16 (may have changed) | | [XDC Depot](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/2pZglCrq25HnaoTwXr8s/offers/FF3VFNcq9v8EbzttT4Pj?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $18.97 | In Stock | 2023-07-13 (may have changed) | | [The BuildClub](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/2pZglCrq25HnaoTwXr8s/offers/MjzmN1IlATQ00X4Tjvf4?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $19.60 | In Stock | 2022-08-12 (may have changed) | | [HEC Distribution](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/2pZglCrq25HnaoTwXr8s/offers/Oa0Q6KjaNBy0Xp3VNaMg?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $22.91 | In Stock | 2023-07-13 (may have changed) | | [Acme Tools](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/2pZglCrq25HnaoTwXr8s/offers/BdtV658oBgITjfgBu5uR?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $22.94 | In Stock | 2024-09-10 (may have changed) | [See every retailer and the full price history on ShopSavvy](https://shopsavvy.com/products/dewalt-5-piece-hammer-bit-set) --- *About this page: ShopSavvy compares prices across thousands of retailers, aggregates expert and user reviews, and tracks price history to help you make informed buying decisions.
