**Price Range:** $6.5 - $15.41 across 2 retailers

## Pros
- Conditions hair to be more elastic and smooth, reducing breakage
- Keeps hair soft, shiny, and well-nourished with regular use
- Moisturizes the scalp and strengthens hair over time
- Works well to tame wavy, frizzy hair when applied thoroughly and left on for 1-4 hours
- Regular use (1-2 times per week) prevents dryness and split ends, even without frequent trims
- Has an effective Ayurvedic formula for consistent hair and scalp health
- Rich oil, so only a small amount is needed per application
- Herbal scent is strong at first but tends to fade after washing
- Helps reduce dandruff when left on the scalp for about 10 minutes
- Can be combined with other Indian oils for tailored hair care benefits

## Cons
- Has a very strong, medicinal, and powdery scent that some find unpleasant or overpowering
- Using too much oil can cause product build-up and greasiness
- Some users reported no visible hair growth results even after consistent use
- A few users experienced scalp issues like dryness, flakiness, or even hair loss and bald spots after use
- The strong smell is a dealbreaker for some, making it unusable
- Hair growth improvements may take a long time to appear, if at all
- Not everyone’s scalp reacts well; there are reports of scalp fungus diagnoses linked to use
