# Coralife Turtle Trunk *Published: 2025-06-19 | Updated: 2025-07-18 | Source: https://shopsavvy.com/products/coralife-turtle-trunk* --- **Brand:** Coralife **Price Range:** $28.65 - $82.38 across 30 retailers ## Pros - The platform size is excellent for large aquatic turtles. - The base is sturdy enough to support both the platform and the turtle. - The design allows the top part to float at water level, providing effective stability. - It does not rely on suction cups, making it suitable for aquatic setups. - Some users find it visually appealing, providing a nice basking area for turtles. ## Cons - The product poses a significant risk to turtles, as a design flaw can lead to entrapment and drowning. - The design features holes underneath that can be dangerous for pets' limbs and heads. - There is a need for safety improvements to prevent tragic incidents. - The platform can easily break off from the connecting pole. - Concerns exist about quality considering the cost, with issues of breakage during setup and cleaning. - The basking area may not secure properly, leading to detachment after minimal use. - Paint chipping observed on parts of the product. ##
