# Chris Christensen Long Pin Slicker Brush, Large *Published: 2024-10-08 | Updated: 2024-12-16 | Source: https://shopsavvy.com/products/chris-christensen-long-pin-slicker-brush-large* --- **Brand:** Chris Christensen **Price Range:** $65.99 - $181.99 across 19 retailers ## Pros - Significant improvement in grooming quality compared to basic slicker brushes. - Long pins and dense arrangement effectively groom dense, wavy hair that is prone to matting. - Pets enjoy the grooming experience, showing less resistance and discomfort. - Allows for quick and efficient grooming sessions, maintaining a fluffy and mat-free coat. - Soft tips minimize irritation, making it gentle on the dog's skin. - High customer satisfaction with quality and product experience. - Easy removal of built-up hair from the brush simplifies maintenance. - Pairs well with a stainless steel comb for enhanced grooming. - Notable reduction in shedding, even in breeds with heavy coats. - Longer pins reach the undercoat, facilitating better mat removal and coat care. ## Cons - Brush effectiveness varied based on user technique and detangling spray usage. - Some users found the pin length excessive for certain coat types. - Pins may move during use, requiring occasional adjustment. - High cost might deter users in favor of cheaper alternatives. - Time-consuming for pets to stay still during the grooming process. ## Last Seen Prices | Retailer | Price | Availability | Last seen | |----------|-------|-------------|-----------| | [Amazon](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/Vdk1WLOTJUw8aDnpVcmV/offers/MOgfRe3gYqvIVXCaFxHb?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $65.99 | In Stock | 2024-12-16 (may have changed) | | [Bigbigmart.com](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/Vdk1WLOTJUw8aDnpVcmV/offers/f8256e44-1deb-2072-b460-1de8c603078e?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $67.44 | In Stock | 2024-12-16 (may have changed) | | [cherrybrook.com](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/Vdk1WLOTJUw8aDnpVcmV/offers/V2o0RJPj46ErLn8Mb4Cd?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $69.50 | In Stock | 2024-12-16 (may have changed) | | [ShowDogStore.com](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/Vdk1WLOTJUw8aDnpVcmV/offers/ZbARTaGNjTuTEi8LzpDH?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $73.00 | In Stock | 2023-06-02 (may have changed) | | [Walmart](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/Vdk1WLOTJUw8aDnpVcmV/offers/fy84v398MBFwuUfimFeR?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $73.00 | In Stock | 2023-06-02 (may have changed) | | [Penwago Co.](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/Vdk1WLOTJUw8aDnpVcmV/offers/FuazJAgom9hD4ULNR56H?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $74.99 | In Stock | 2022-08-15 (may have changed) | | [Petzome](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/Vdk1WLOTJUw8aDnpVcmV/offers/IjHNTGqJiqN1ZRRiLIgR?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $74.99 | In Stock | 2022-08-21 (may have changed) | | [Beazox Store](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/Vdk1WLOTJUw8aDnpVcmV/offers/RlNrn6fGrFiNbzzl3MtD?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $75.99 | In Stock | 2022-10-06 (may have changed) | | [lazada.com.ph](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/Vdk1WLOTJUw8aDnpVcmV/offers/c408d241-9c1b-660c-7d9b-34d1890ace39?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $78.00 | In Stock | 2024-12-16 (may have changed) | | [petocart.com](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/Vdk1WLOTJUw8aDnpVcmV/offers/chf17yE0zisxzpMu5aD8?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $83.41 | In Stock | 2023-05-15 (may have changed) | | [Search Wellness Online](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/Vdk1WLOTJUw8aDnpVcmV/offers/rnQjjQ6faD49ch3qCGQK?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $87.49 | In Stock | 2023-03-23 (may have changed) | | [Search Wellness Online](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/Vdk1WLOTJUw8aDnpVcmV/offers/MDXUnSUj4GybbnG7R1Sm?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $93.74 | In Stock | 2022-08-15 (may have changed) | | [LnBMall.com](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/Vdk1WLOTJUw8aDnpVcmV/offers/pC0sxBhVuQsKOjHR7dua?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $115.70 | In Stock | 2022-11-28 (may have changed) | | [Petshopia](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/Vdk1WLOTJUw8aDnpVcmV/offers/TMr5Epw2xSWAft7GjRtl?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $119.98 | In Stock | 2022-10-19 (may have changed) | | [LnBMall.com](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/Vdk1WLOTJUw8aDnpVcmV/offers/UCkcpmffizhbGiUYk4zG?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $124.05 | In Stock | 2023-04-29 (may have changed) | | [GoSupps.com](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/Vdk1WLOTJUw8aDnpVcmV/offers/14059cff-fc74-0fc5-f408-9acacb700b69?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $124.99 | In Stock | 2024-12-16 (may have changed) | | [Fishpond.com](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/Vdk1WLOTJUw8aDnpVcmV/offers/9eAyzfA81YmkfF8Zv4yj?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $126.00 | In Stock | 2023-05-15 (may have changed) | | [ibspot.com](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/Vdk1WLOTJUw8aDnpVcmV/offers/NjMo7C3ylUaNrp1NNAg2?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $150.20 | In Stock | 2023-05-15 (may have changed) | | [bigamart.com](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/Vdk1WLOTJUw8aDnpVcmV/offers/vvtfDxQ4RFZCdjgXr25I?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $181.99 | In Stock | 2023-05-15 (may have changed) | [See every retailer and the full price history on ShopSavvy](https://shopsavvy.com/products/chris-christensen-long-pin-slicker-brush-large) --- *About this page: ShopSavvy compares prices across thousands of retailers, aggregates expert and user reviews, and tracks price history to help you make informed buying decisions.
