# Canon CLI-251XL Ink Pack *Published: 2025-02-19 | Updated: 2025-02-19 | Source: https://shopsavvy.com/products/canon-cli-251xl-ink-pack* --- **Brand:** Canon **Price Range:** $55.01 - $98.99 across 26 retailers ## Pros - Canon inks provide accurate and beautiful colors, especially for photography and floral subjects. - Produces high-quality, clear, and colorful images, as well as sharp text and documents. - Consistent satisfaction with Canon inks over several years. - Excellent for printing photos and includes a special tray for inkjet printable CDs and DVDs. - Ink consistently performs well without issues over time. ## Cons - High ink consumption; XL cartridges deplete quickly, even with minimal photo printing. - Leakage issues when unwrapping replacement cartridges, resulting in ink-covered hands. - Ink prices are considered outrageously high, with cartridges not lasting long enough. - Packaging does not include all 6 cartridges required for the printer, necessitating multiple purchases. - Frustration over the gray cartridge not being included in multi-packs and not readily available at local stores. - Issues with the authenticity of cartridges, leading to printer errors like B200. - Users feel misled by the cartridge's design, which includes unnecessary sponges, reducing usable ink. - Excessive warming and cleaning cycles waste significant ink. - Overall dissatisfaction with costs, suggesting alternatives like Megatank printers for better operating costs. ## Specifications | Attribute | Value | |-----------|-------| | productName | Canon CLI-251XL 3-Ink Value Pack | | model | CLI-251XL | | brand | Canon | | inkType | Dye-based ink | | packSize | 3 cartridges | | color | cyan, magenta, yellow | | manufacturer | Canon | | weight | 0.5 lbs | | upc | 013803228668 | | mpn | CLI-251XL | | sku | CLI-251XL-3PK | ## About This Product 3 ink value pack. ## Last Seen Prices | Retailer | Price | Availability | Last seen | Store's standard terms | |----------|-------|-------------|-----------|------------------------| | [shoplet.com](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/1aOYekJc8WVS9vPAWFSB/offers/822aca9f-522f-389a-e115-aea19d2487cd?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $55.01 | In Stock | 2025-02-19 (may have changed) | | | [Amazon](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/1aOYekJc8WVS9vPAWFSB/offers/adfb4f07-8ae0-7275-6a26-52feb9aaa532?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $57.89 | In Stock | 2025-02-19 (may have changed) | | | [woodartsupply.com](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/1aOYekJc8WVS9vPAWFSB/offers/a7376089-4db5-ee98-3e23-22d21de72a14?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $57.99 | In Stock | 2025-02-19 (may have changed) | | | [Adorama](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/1aOYekJc8WVS9vPAWFSB/offers/fe5860a2-7875-ea49-73ad-272d7d02782c?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $60.00 | In Stock | 2025-02-19 (may have changed) | 30-day returns (in store too) | | [B&H Photo Video](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/1aOYekJc8WVS9vPAWFSB/offers/56d6201e-2140-0f83-4c0e-f43bd5d3fa66?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $60.00 | In Stock | 2025-02-19 (may have changed) | 30-day returns (in store too) | | [Best Buy](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/1aOYekJc8WVS9vPAWFSB/offers/81608fe5-93b4-7267-b75c-71d563a3bcc4?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $60.99 | In Stock | 2025-02-19 (may have changed) | 15-day returns (in store too) · free return shipping · free shipping on $35+ | | [Bluedogink](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/1aOYekJc8WVS9vPAWFSB/offers/aa3ca662-5705-f7dd-bda1-c883d2eaa235?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $60.99 | In Stock | 2025-02-19 (may have changed) | | | [Canon](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/1aOYekJc8WVS9vPAWFSB/offers/727ff67a-64ca-8540-4148-29b94a322e32?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $60.99 | In Stock | 2025-02-19 (may have changed) | | | [CDW](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/1aOYekJc8WVS9vPAWFSB/offers/18b0b00f-c003-103e-b9a5-3857227ca96b?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $60.99 | In Stock | 2025-02-19 (may have changed) | | | [colamco.com](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/1aOYekJc8WVS9vPAWFSB/offers/4950e61e-51c7-86fa-b727-be9cf8c7926f?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $60.99 | In Stock | 2025-02-19 (may have changed) | | | [OfficeCrave.com](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/1aOYekJc8WVS9vPAWFSB/offers/da5a6861-f90f-eda2-66b3-1ee55411fe00?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $60.99 | In Stock | 2025-02-19 (may have changed) | | | [Quill.com](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/1aOYekJc8WVS9vPAWFSB/offers/8006fb26-9467-0a30-8119-518a1320a6b0?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $60.99 | In Stock | 2025-02-19 (may have changed) | 30-day returns · free return shipping · free shipping on $45+ | | [W.B.
