# Breville BTA820XL Toaster *Published: 2025-01-15 | Updated: 2025-02-10 | Source: https://shopsavvy.com/products/breville-bta820xl-toaster* --- **Brand:** Breville **Price Range:** $29.99 - $337.32 across 86 retailers ## Pros - The 'A Bit More' feature is highly appreciated and useful for achieving the perfect level of doneness. - Consistently produces perfect toast after several months of use. - Includes convenient features like 'A Bit More' and 'Lift and Look'. - Deeper slots accommodate tall loaves of homemade bread. - Offers customizable settings for various bread types and frozen items. - Strong recommendation for purchase from some users who intend to buy the same model again. - The bread crumb catcher is easy to remove, clean, and replace. - Innovative plug design and straightforward cord storage enhance usability. ## Cons - Produces uneven toast due to inconsistent heating elements. - The signal tone for toast completion is barely audible. - Concerns about durability and longevity, especially for a premium item. - Requires multiple passes on Bagel mode for proper toasting. - Outer coils stopped functioning within a year of use. - Issues with the toaster not popping up, needing a reset by unplugging. - Costs do not seem justified by performance; many feel a lower price would be more appropriate. - Cleaning is difficult as crumbs get caught on the sides. - Some users experienced a failure of inner toasting elements after light usage. - Overall disappointment with brand reliability and performance. ## About This Product Breville Die-Cast Smart Toaster 2 Slice BTA820XL, Brushed Stainless Steel ## Last Seen Prices | Retailer | Price | Availability | Last seen | |----------|-------|-------------|-----------| | [Acme](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/93TgA3DBJt5ejcktZcnM/offers/xBbH33389TOR4bC4n4pL?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $29.99 | In Stock | 2023-05-02 (may have changed) | | [My Store](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/93TgA3DBJt5ejcktZcnM/offers/xtcDytfC2z4eTdtboTk1?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $29.99 | In Stock | 2023-03-19 (may have changed) | | [Abtaudios](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/93TgA3DBJt5ejcktZcnM/offers/byXTiVwn0MXQnUa6VhYh?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $44.98 | In Stock | 2023-04-30 (may have changed) | | [My Store](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/93TgA3DBJt5ejcktZcnM/offers/vjBSNXnoJn0EfmSsDtmB?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $44.98 | In Stock | 2023-05-29 (may have changed) | | [My Store](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/93TgA3DBJt5ejcktZcnM/offers/w0Y7zBXuh9X0got0gy6K?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $44.98 | In Stock | 2023-04-09 (may have changed) | | [Today deals](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/93TgA3DBJt5ejcktZcnM/offers/qRT7vs5GOMszAzxykZ4A?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $44.98 | In Stock | 2023-04-30 (may have changed) | | [Abtaudios](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/93TgA3DBJt5ejcktZcnM/offers/TDzF4gAlHSD15P7uQjqf?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $49.48 | In Stock | 2023-01-25 (may have changed) | | [retailers/bedbathandbeyond](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/93TgA3DBJt5ejcktZcnM/offers/3ca89e10-4f23-3e27-ae46-c7a75b91def3?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $52.99 | In Stock | 2025-12-30 (may have changed) | | [retailers/everythingbranded](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/93TgA3DBJt5ejcktZcnM/offers/ff8f4a9b-dd61-bfc4-6f28-124eecb540ab?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $92.61 | In Stock | 2025-12-30 (may have changed) | | [Juniata Market](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/93TgA3DBJt5ejcktZcnM/offers/2gYQAnSA9XnGXcymwErK?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $97.47 | In Stock | 2023-04-07 (may have changed) | | [Nudrag](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/93TgA3DBJt5ejcktZcnM/offers/pkKbDLohx5eaiQ5PaqUN?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $119.99 | In Stock | 2022-10-12 (may have changed) | | [foshesanto](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/93TgA3DBJt5ejcktZcnM/offers/4uF4giiG14yCe5YbaJBX?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $126.60 | In Stock | 2022-09-19 (may have changed) | | [retailers/bigeasymart](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/93TgA3DBJt5ejcktZcnM/offers/cb23870c-3a76-633c-7f02-ef5d3412ac4b?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $126.79 | In Stock | 2025-12-30 (may have changed) | | [Bicotax](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/93TgA3DBJt5ejcktZcnM/offers/eh1kwWFdofLxhMjwtbaF?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $127.96 | In Stock | 2023-06-02 (may have changed) | | [Ficomo](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/93TgA3DBJt5ejcktZcnM/offers/jwEqkAoSyNshKKdRqBzl?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $127.96 | In Stock | 2023-06-02 (may have changed) | | [retailers/martexplore](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/93TgA3DBJt5ejcktZcnM/offers/a34d48b9-6083-fb8f-40e2-864e1812e578?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $128.21 | In Stock | 2025-12-30 (may have changed) | | [retailers/bonanza](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/93TgA3DBJt5ejcktZcnM/offers/e0d8e10b-0448-3a8d-ff51-6d13288819c6?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $129.00 | In Stock | 2025-12-30 (may have changed) | | [AJ Madison](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/93TgA3DBJt5ejcktZcnM/offers/88c46a30-daf8-313e-67b0-af65903696b7?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $129.00 | In Stock | 2024-12-16 (may have changed) | | [Amazon](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/93TgA3DBJt5ejcktZcnM/offers/6ebe5ad5-1cf9-4aff-5998-cbd44c07bdd6?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $133.20 | In Stock | 2025-02-10 (may have changed) | | [BrookPad](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/93TgA3DBJt5ejcktZcnM/offers/54fTANZMVMhQZ6nXXkjN?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $148.00 | In Stock | 2022-11-20 (may have changed) | [See every retailer and the full price history on ShopSavvy](https://shopsavvy.com/products/breville-bta820xl-toaster) --- *About this page: ShopSavvy compares prices across thousands of retailers, aggregates expert and user reviews, and tracks price history to help you make informed buying decisions.
