# Blink Outdoor Security Camera Kit *Published: 2026-09-25 | Updated: 2026-09-25 | Source: https://shopsavvy.com/products/blink-outdoor-security-camera-kit* --- **Brand:** Blink **Price Range:** $85.19 - $357.49 across 68 retailers ## Pros - Exceptionally long battery life of up to two years, reducing maintenance hassle - Easy remote operation and customizable camera settings for tailored surveillance - Quick setup process, typically under ten minutes for the app and five minutes per camera - Works reliably in all weather conditions including rain, snow, wind, and gales - Sends real-time alerts with clear video footage whenever activity is detected - High user satisfaction from plenty of reviewers, some even purchasing additional units - Suitable for all ages; simple for non-technical users to install and operate - Captures color video at night with motion-activated lighting, enhancing nighttime security - Stability and durability of the design make it versatile for various environments - Can record locally via a USB thumb drive without a subscription, saving extra costs ## Cons - Battery life can be limited in highly active areas, lasting only about 2 weeks on standard batteries - Movement detection is inconsistent, missing about 5% of activity within the 10m range - Sensitive to windy conditions or movement of bushes, causing false alerts - Night vision is ineffective outdoors without external lighting, producing blurry images - Video and image quality is generally poor and reflects low resolution - Limited recording options—motion detection only, no continuous recording unless subscribed - The outdoor silicon cover is poorly made, offering little water protection; mounting can feel flimsy - Cannot use rechargeable batteries or external solar panels; off-grid use is limited - Frequent power on/off issues, even when plugged into mains, and camera dropouts hinder live monitoring - Recent updates have reduced free features; full functionality now depends on costly subscription plans ## Current Prices | Retailer | Price | Availability | |----------|-------|-------------| | [minekratermug](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/b9j8IFlMe5dvTrvffZtJ/offers/0P8GmYRlyfIZIbFNQ3UF?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $85.19 | Check | | [Best Buy](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/b9j8IFlMe5dvTrvffZtJ/offers/HJUVSm8vVOR0juOYwUK9?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $87.99 | Check | | [My Store](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/b9j8IFlMe5dvTrvffZtJ/offers/0hTZeIvgv5CWU0uD7zQ2?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $91.00 | Check | | [My Store](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/b9j8IFlMe5dvTrvffZtJ/offers/W5jwM6P4niudkGSsfxR1?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $91.00 | Check | | [My Store](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/b9j8IFlMe5dvTrvffZtJ/offers/txr54HcuDJ9zQbjBI3OZ?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $91.50 | Check | | [My Store](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/b9j8IFlMe5dvTrvffZtJ/offers/WWtEkbGD0w4jqw1djDgV?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $91.50 | Check | | [My Store](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/b9j8IFlMe5dvTrvffZtJ/offers/7lPQs43GJUMZ5yVvfDch?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $91.50 | Check | | [My Store](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/b9j8IFlMe5dvTrvffZtJ/offers/cHD6V6EzwQejiyP76QR2?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $91.50 | Check | | [My Store](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/b9j8IFlMe5dvTrvffZtJ/offers/rKmIuQUGxRkXROS6mWtH?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $91.50 | Check | | [Official Store](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/b9j8IFlMe5dvTrvffZtJ/offers/zFH0hy7Ah1TRR79fR6Yf?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $91.50 | Check | | [temn9](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/b9j8IFlMe5dvTrvffZtJ/offers/V9idOT87rG97sa1JptdP?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $91.50 | Check | | [zhaochristainjhszumi](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/b9j8IFlMe5dvTrvffZtJ/offers/bk-c14d257f715dc93a7b1e80f9d07a80fe?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $91.50 | Check | | [BUYA.COM](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/b9j8IFlMe5dvTrvffZtJ/offers/bk-579734e8742e7bd31e832bf5b2fb16e6?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $99.99 | Check | | [DoorDash.com](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/b9j8IFlMe5dvTrvffZtJ/offers/EzF5uZr81JPYnHGrIwJd?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $104.99 | Check | | [electroeshop.com](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/b9j8IFlMe5dvTrvffZtJ/offers/r8g3eLUk3dzWKIoGFfX6?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $124.99 | Check | | [Nebraska Furniture Mart](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/b9j8IFlMe5dvTrvffZtJ/offers/pldWrgzoYNOl78x1ndYm?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $124.99 | Check | | [NFM](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/b9j8IFlMe5dvTrvffZtJ/offers/zoKrLzriP5vytqCwKOUi?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $124.99 | Check | | [Target](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/b9j8IFlMe5dvTrvffZtJ/offers/cCybW0WmikZUr4T8cE3G?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $124.99 | Check | | [BrookPad](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/b9j8IFlMe5dvTrvffZtJ/offers/P2bYd3n3bxRzbnRRhsSx?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $127.00 | Check | | [TrueGether](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/b9j8IFlMe5dvTrvffZtJ/offers/Gjf4vvz0sB31zl17abrj?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $139.99 | Check | [See every retailer and the full price history on ShopSavvy](https://shopsavvy.com/products/blink-outdoor-security-camera-kit) --- *About this page: ShopSavvy compares prices across thousands of retailers, aggregates expert and user reviews, and tracks price history to help you make informed buying decisions.
