# Avi-Cakes Fruit Delight Bird Food *Published: 2025-02-24 | Updated: 2025-02-24 | Source: https://shopsavvy.com/products/avi-cakes-fruit-delight-bird-food* --- **Brand:** Lafeber **Price Range:** $6.99 - $50.67 across 38 retailers ## Pros - Highly favored by Senegal parrots and considered top-tier by some bird owners. - Birds often select this food first over other options, showing strong preferences. - Ideal for picky eaters and can ease the transition for nervous birds thanks to its familiar texture. - Soft and fresh texture makes it easy to break apart, convenient for portioning. - Many owners find it healthier than standard parakeet food options. ## Cons - Arrives stale and hard sometimes, making it unsuitable for smaller birds. - Inconsistent quality where some sizes are softer while others are hard and undesirable. - Some birds, particularly parakeets, do not respond well to the flavor or texture, leading to food waste. ##
