# Audioengine A2 Plus Speakers *Published: 2026-03-24 | Updated: 2026-03-24 | Source: https://shopsavvy.com/products/audioengine-a2-plus-speakers* --- **Brand:** Audioengine **Price Range:** $219 - $158211.46 across 14 retailers ## Pros - Exceptional sound quality with clear, detailed mids and highs, especially impressive given the compact size. - Rich, deep bass that is well-balanced for personal desk setups, though not overpowering. - Premium, solid build quality with a luxurious matte finish and a minimalist, compact design that looks professional and saves desk space. - Versatile and reliable connectivity options including USB-C (works smoothly with Macs) and Bluetooth with near lossless sound quality. - Easy and quick setup with straightforward Bluetooth pairing and wired connection via copper cable. - Works well across multiple devices including Mac Mini M4 Pro, Linux, and Nintendo Switch 2. - Minimal vibration and rattling thanks to quality engineering despite the small footprint. - Bluetooth offers convenient source switching, making it practical for switching between devices without re-plugging. - Delivers excellent volume and power output for its size, suitable for home office or desktop use. - Highly recommended for users seeking luxury minimalist aesthetics combined with solid audio performance. ## Cons - Bass, while decent and tight, is not very powerful or booming—may leave bass-heads wanting more. - Lacks an optical port, which some users prefer over RCA for seamless computer audio integration. - Volume control is located on the rear, which can be inconvenient if you frequently adjust volume by hand. - Slight Bluetooth latency noticeable when gaming or watching movies, which can be fixed by switching to USB input. - USB-C requires a USB 2.0 or higher-speed port—some USB-A ports or adapters may not work, which could confuse less tech-savvy buyers. - Occasional minor distortion or crackling sounds reported early on, though usually improving after a break-in period. - Appeals more to luxury minimalists and general users rather than audiophiles who seek the absolute best price-to-performance ratio. ## Specifications | Attribute | Value | |-----------|-------| | model | A2 Plus | | brand | Audioengine | | manufacturer | Audioengine | ## Last Seen Prices | Retailer | Price | Availability | Last seen | Store's standard terms | |----------|-------|-------------|-----------|------------------------| | [Walmart](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/Y9adHBhDgW2kx3QpQPPu/offers/H8a7Yo2nApaj3A8SgEIH?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $219.00 | In Stock | 2025-07-05 (may have changed) | 90-day returns (in store too) | | [Turntable Lab](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/Y9adHBhDgW2kx3QpQPPu/offers/XdgyuzA9rrAwBQLyNgPB?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $229.00 | In Stock | 2025-07-05 (may have changed) | | | [Guncelkal.net](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/Y9adHBhDgW2kx3QpQPPu/offers/fw5GzN6fX0q25kZbpeB5?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $268.99 | In Stock | 2025-07-05 (may have changed) | | | [Amazon](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/Y9adHBhDgW2kx3QpQPPu/offers/30MWhhKaBLr0BcEuRal4?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $269.00 | In Stock | 2025-07-05 (may have changed) | | | [Audioengine](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/Y9adHBhDgW2kx3QpQPPu/offers/3Lt3rgeQst3ozNX6hnS1?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $269.00 | In Stock | 2025-07-05 (may have changed) | | | [B&H Photo Video](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/Y9adHBhDgW2kx3QpQPPu/offers/LgQ02uTyYZ57YAZSy63C?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $269.00 | In Stock | 2025-07-05 (may have changed) | 30-day returns (in store too) | | [Crutchfield](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/Y9adHBhDgW2kx3QpQPPu/offers/xcy9Ec4abs7iawESVsEz?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $269.00 | In Stock | 2025-07-05 (may have changed) | 60-day returns | | [Newegg](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/Y9adHBhDgW2kx3QpQPPu/offers/6gG6VEYQBpXBoROmK2af?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $269.00 | In Stock | 2025-07-05 (may have changed) | | | [Perfect Circuit](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/Y9adHBhDgW2kx3QpQPPu/offers/HApR70yzEdzDFKlE09gY?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $269.00 | In Stock | 2025-07-05 (may have changed) | | | [Procraft Supply](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/Y9adHBhDgW2kx3QpQPPu/offers/WFl9xp8opJPHvLvcEy6H?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $269.00 | In Stock | 2025-07-05 (may have changed) | | | [Target](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/Y9adHBhDgW2kx3QpQPPu/offers/b6C8BClQwHa4iP8KaHyA?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $269.00 | In Stock | 2025-07-05 (may have changed) | 90-day returns (in store too) · free return shipping · free shipping on $35+ | | [retailers/viglink](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/Y9adHBhDgW2kx3QpQPPu/offers/1edc2d36-b748-4ecd-6741-7958d61d8f86?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $279.00 | In Stock | 2026-03-24 (may have changed) | | | [retailers/macys](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/Y9adHBhDgW2kx3QpQPPu/offers/42dcd888-9309-ad30-a866-92f5c8e8f783?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $279.00 | In Stock | 2026-03-24 (may have changed) | 30-day returns (in store too) · free shipping on $25+ | | [Mercadolibre Colombia](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/Y9adHBhDgW2kx3QpQPPu/offers/6z5pyXOreykUfcJ9rn31?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $158211.46 | In Stock | 2025-07-05 (may have changed) | | *Store terms are each retailer's standard return and shipping policy from ShopSavvy's retailer research; some products and categories differ, so check with the store before buying.* [See every retailer and the full price history on ShopSavvy](https://shopsavvy.com/products/audioengine-a2-plus-speakers) --- *About this page: ShopSavvy compares prices across thousands of retailers, aggregates expert and user reviews, and tracks price history to help you make informed buying decisions.
