**Brand:** ASUS
**Price Range:** $229.99 - $299.99 across 5 retailers

## Pros
- Uses 100mm planar magnetic drivers tuned by ROG and HIFIMAN, delivering exceptional, detailed sound quality with a wide soundstage and natural imaging that reveals subtle audio details.
- Open-back design provides immersive, spacious audio ideal for gaming, music, and movies, enhancing positional accuracy and creating a more engaging experience.
- Adjustable headband and large, breathable ear pads offer a comfortable fit for long gaming or listening sessions without causing fatigue.
- Includes a high-quality MEMS boom microphone considered among the best for gaming headsets, with convenient mute and volume controls on the cord.
- Versatile connectivity options including 3.5mm, 4.4mm balanced, and 6.35mm TRS adapters, plus USB-C for PC, making it compatible with DACs, amps, consoles, mobiles, and PCs.
- Low 16 Ohm impedance allows use directly with various devices, although optimal performance is achieved with an external DAC/amp.
- Swappable ear cups with leatherette pads provide enhanced bass response and comfort customization.
- Smooth treble tuning reduces listening fatigue often associated with planar magnetic headphones.
- Performs best in direct audio mode for clean and natural sound, with surround virtualization better suited for cinematic gaming experiences.

## Cons
- As an open-back headphone, it offers very little noise isolation, making it less suitable for noisy or shared environments.
- Lacks wireless functionality, limiting use strictly to wired connections.
- Requires external DAC/amp for best performance, which means additional investment beyond just the headphones.
- Does not come with a carrying case, which must be purchased separately if portability and protection are important.
- While the microphone is good for game chat and Discord calls, it is not studio-grade, so users wanting top voice quality might want a dedicated USB mic.
- Build quality prioritizes comfort over ruggedness, so the headphones may need careful handling to avoid damage.
