# Arnold Oatnut Bread *Published: 2025-02-22 | Updated: 2025-02-22 | Source: https://shopsavvy.com/products/arnold-oatnut-bread* --- **Brand:** Arnold **Price Range:** $3.99 - $8.99 across 16 retailers ## Pros - Generally delicious with a taste similar to the original Oroweat. - Thin and great texture, making it a household staple. - Filled with healthy ingredients that enhance flavor. - Versatile usage: excellent for toast with nut butter, sandwiches, and Thanksgiving stuffing. - Stays fresh for months when refrigerated and freezes well in the original bag. - The product is generally praised for its taste and quality. - The taste improves when lightly toasted. - Soft texture, making it easy to create sandwiches. ## Cons - Consistent quality issues noted, particularly with burning during the baking process. - Some have received both good and badly burned loaves in the same purchase. - High rate of returns due to quality problems, particularly in North Carolina. - The inner plastic wrapper is missing, leading to rapid molding. - Uses GMOs, with small print making it hard to identify. - Becomes very dry after 3-4 days of opening, despite expiration dates. - Previous fans are disappointed with recent quality declines. - Concern about potential shrinkflation affecting the product's size in the future. ## Specifications | Attribute | Value | |-----------|-------| | productName | Arnold Whole Grains Oatnut Bread, Soft Pre-sliced Multigrain Bread | | weight | 24 oz | | brand | Arnold | | packaging | Pre-sliced | | productType | Multigrain Bread | | quality | Healthy | | gmoStatus | Contains GMO | | bakingIssues | Burned quality reported | | seal | No inner seal | | expirationWarning | Dries out quickly after opening | | storage | Can be refrigerated or frozen | | nutritionalValue | Made with whole grains and multigrains | | multipack | Available in 2 pk | | texture | Soft, firm when lightly toasted | | recommendedUses | Sandwiches, toasts, meatloaf stuffing | ## Last Seen Prices | Retailer | Price | Availability | Last seen | Store's standard terms | |----------|-------|-------------|-----------|------------------------| | [DailyCart](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/nF3M155Dp6U1WWbs9GXW/offers/db3eed33-80d9-9c11-f424-9a91f6bb17ef?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $3.99 | In Stock | 2025-05-10 (may have changed) | | | [Target](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/nF3M155Dp6U1WWbs9GXW/offers/815bc5de-45e7-c6e9-b3a6-596569aeac96?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $3.99 | In Stock | 2025-05-10 (may have changed) | 90-day returns (in store too) · free return shipping · free shipping on $35+ | | [freshcentralgrocery.com](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/nF3M155Dp6U1WWbs9GXW/offers/4d4a5ebe-f29c-ae60-4f84-4552ff329455?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $4.49 | In Stock | 2025-05-10 (may have changed) | | | [togo.foodlion.com](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/nF3M155Dp6U1WWbs9GXW/offers/fc438255-43fd-afaf-334e-51f0810560b4?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $4.79 | In Stock | 2025-05-10 (may have changed) | | | [Walmart](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/nF3M155Dp6U1WWbs9GXW/offers/SpQbu7DYnELq4phYH314?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $5.21 | In Stock | 2025-05-10 (may have changed) | 90-day returns (in store too) | | [pantrydash.com](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/nF3M155Dp6U1WWbs9GXW/offers/847e827b-fea1-8238-4198-1e2541abd466?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $5.23 | In Stock | 2025-05-10 (may have changed) | | | [3cornersmarket.com](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/nF3M155Dp6U1WWbs9GXW/offers/28cd6b54-53ff-a351-529f-d91a9ba19d22?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $5.29 | In Stock | 2025-05-10 (may have changed) | | | [Boxed Market](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/nF3M155Dp6U1WWbs9GXW/offers/m9xCao8s3FubFmbGSsct?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $5.29 | In Stock | 2025-05-10 (may have changed) | | | [FreshDirect](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/nF3M155Dp6U1WWbs9GXW/offers/ShY5XovFJTFEh7yLtfGJ?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $5.29 | In Stock | 2025-05-10 (may have changed) | | | [giantfood.com](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/nF3M155Dp6U1WWbs9GXW/offers/372f461e-3b71-1b98-ebc0-5a2270381b8c?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $5.29 | In Stock | 2025-05-10 (may have changed) | | | [seabrafoods.com](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/nF3M155Dp6U1WWbs9GXW/offers/npaaJLP9rl8uVHmuuA5q?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $5.29 | In Stock | 2025-05-10 (may have changed) | | | [DoorDash.com](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/nF3M155Dp6U1WWbs9GXW/offers/WqgHnZ7BeEfxCan1YZDy?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $5.59 | In Stock | 2022-08-08 (may have changed) | | | [Publix Delivery](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/nF3M155Dp6U1WWbs9GXW/offers/qeYA9WQEMDj8VuBVVPkx?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $5.87 | In Stock | 2025-05-10 (may have changed) | | | [Publix Delivery](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/nF3M155Dp6U1WWbs9GXW/offers/FSlEBBOaK1EEojof8EZu?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $5.87 | In Stock | 2022-07-21 (may have changed) | | | [rehmie.com](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/nF3M155Dp6U1WWbs9GXW/offers/tz1zjjzIk7eHm3LukFr2?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $6.72 | In Stock | 2022-07-21 (may have changed) | | | [ShopFoodEx.com](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/nF3M155Dp6U1WWbs9GXW/offers/hCQYa8WaijFglN7ipJoy?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $8.99 | In Stock | 2025-05-10 (may have changed) | | *Store terms are each retailer's standard return and shipping policy from ShopSavvy's retailer research; some products and categories differ, so check with the store before buying.* [See every retailer and the full price history on ShopSavvy](https://shopsavvy.com/products/arnold-oatnut-bread) --- *About this page: ShopSavvy compares prices across thousands of retailers, aggregates expert and user reviews, and tracks price history to help you make informed buying decisions.
