Auto-Buy is a Desktop-only feature that watches a product for you and completes a purchase the instant a retailer drops to your target price.

## Before You Start

You will need:

- A ShopSavvy account with a wallet set up (Settings → Wallet — add a payment method and a shipping address).
- A product you have already added to your watched list.
- A retailer that supports Universal Checkout (most major US retailers do).

A $2.00 non-refundable service fee applies to each successful Auto-Buy transaction.

## Turning It On

1. Open the Desktop app and go to your **Watched Products** screen.
2. Click the product you want Auto-Buy on.
3. In the settings sidebar, scroll to the **Auto-Buy** section.
4. Enter a **target price** — the highest price you are willing to pay.
5. Choose which retailers you will let it buy from and your shipping preference.
6. Toggle **Auto-Buy** on. You will be asked to confirm — read the prompt carefully, then approve.

## What Happens Next

ShopSavvy keeps watching the product in the background. If a participating retailer's price drops to or below your target, the app places the order using your saved wallet and shipping details. You will get a notification and an email confirmation the moment it goes through.

## Tips

- Target prices that are too aggressive may never trigger. The Desktop app's price chart shows the all-time low — set the target near or just above it for the best chance.
- You can pause Auto-Buy any time from the same sidebar without losing your settings.
- Auto-Buy respects your retailer preferences — if you exclude a retailer in Settings, Auto-Buy will skip it too.
