Cleaning your COSORI Air Fryer Pro Smart 5.8QT is pretty straightforward. Here’s how to do it step-by-step to keep it in good shape:

1. **Unplug and Cool Down:** Always start by unplugging the air fryer and letting it cool completely.

2. **Basket and Crisper Plate:** Remove the basket and crisper plate. These parts are dishwasher safe according to the manufacturer. Just pop them on the top rack. If you’re washing by hand, use warm, soapy water with a non-abrasive sponge. This helps keep the non-stick coating intact.

3. **Interior Cleaning:** Wipe down the inside with a damp cloth or sponge. Skip the harsh cleaners to avoid damaging the surface. Focus on getting rid of any food bits or grease, and use a soft brush if needed.

4. **Heating Element:** Carefully clean the heating element with a damp cloth. Be gentle here to avoid causing any damage.

5. **Exterior Wipe Down:** Give the exterior a wipe with a damp cloth. Don’t use too much water to avoid any electrical issues.

6. **Dry Everything Thoroughly:** Before putting it all back together, make sure every part is completely dry. This helps prevent mold or mildew.

7. **Reassemble and Store:** Once everything is dry, reassemble your air fryer and store it in a clean, dry spot.

According to our research, some people have noted that the basket handles can be a bit fragile. To avoid problems, handle the basket gently and keep the handles away from excessive heat or force.

If something does break, COSORI offers replacement baskets, which is handy.

Following these steps will help keep your COSORI Air Fryer Pro Smart 5.8QT clean, efficient, and ready for your next cooking session.
